Kid-friendly holiday rentals in The Barossa Council

We enjoyed our stay at Melanie’s, it had everything we needed for 4 people and Tanunda was a great base to explore the Barossa. Would recommend and would stay again!

we stayed here over easter this year and although sadly i was sick and couldn’t get out and about much this is a great location . hubby did the parkrun on saturday which was only 500 m away as was a great dog park for our girl to run about … its a great launch pad too for the wi neries. earn and would love to come back when better … thankyou so much karen

Gorgeous surrounds and very comfortable house for a family group. Tracey was lovely to deal with and welcomed us very generously with a bottle of wine and some chocolates.

Immediately felt right at home, relaxed and comfortable. Description is very accurate and the check-in easy. Level and short walk to the main street which has everything you need: bakery, groceries, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants, visitors centre plus some great shops. Great base to explore the Barossa and I would highly recommend Ruby’s for families, couples or friends. Lots of room and space for 6. Would love to return and spend more than the three nights. We loved VineVale. The whole house was warm and welcoming. Large living areas, well stocked kitchen and pantry, fireplace and comfy couches. Pool area was like walking into a European villa, very peaceful. Outdoor bbq and fridge. Even the linens were colour coordinated by room. I hope we get to visit again - thanks Karen

Anne's place was one of the best AirBnB's we've stayed in. Her place was the perfect country house and felt so warm, cosy and peaceful. The house was pristine clean and had everything we required from basic amenities to toys for the kids. All areas of the house were stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved the coffee machine with good quality coffee pods and an array of tea options. Our little 2 yr old had the best time playing with all the toys provided and we appreciated the cot and highchair that was available. We loved the property and enjoyed going for walks in the morning and watching the sunset in the evening. One very minor issue we had, was there was a child lock on the stove, which we spent some time figuring out how to unlock. However, other than that, we loved our stay in this beautiful Angaston property and will definitely be back next time we visit Adelaide ❤️

great value for money, staff very friendly and inviting and place was very clean for an older establishment. was not what we were expecting given the cheap price. We were attending a local event and just needed a room for the night so had everything we needed at a great price.

Our host, Lindsay, was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the Barossa. He provided us with some great recommendations - wineries, restaurants and sightseeing. The accommodation was very comfortable and had some (good) surprises. Highly recommended.

We rated this place highly for that short time we were there. Unfortunately, on self-checking in we experienced that the air conditioner was not working beknown to the host as they had it programmed to be on prior to our arrival. We switched on the unit, thinking that it was not turned on initially. Within a couple of minutes the unit shut down. Contacted the host and they attended with minutes with our concern. After several attempts the host realized that there was an issue and immediately contacted a service company. The hosts went beyond of what we expected especially on a late Friday afternoon to try and accommodate, but unfortunately the serviceman was unable to fix the problem. From this moment Marie and Keith were already sourcing other accommodation for our three-night stay. They arranged our stay at a resort nearby and covered the costs without any hesitation. The home would have been ideal for our stay as it had everything going for it. We would highly recommend Lough Leane.

Great place to stay in the Barossa. It is very close to many wineries and attractions. The apartment was very clean and spacious and very accurate from the descriptions. A great host who is very responsive and friendly! I would recommend it to everyone!

A really gorgeous stay in the heart of the Barossa. Alicia was great with communicating and had thought of everything in this king size room. Would have liked to use the featured pool but understand it’s not available in winter. Will be back!

One of the best ever :) We have been using Airbnb for many years; & Deb’s property is one of the best we have ever stayed at. So thoughtful with little extras; which was very appreciative. The layout and cleanliness of her property was first class. Communication with Deb was easy and all instructions easy to follow. We would gladly re book this property. Very close to the Rundle Mall, Botanical Gardens & Adelaide Oval just a 20 minutes walk away.

We had an amazing 4 nights. The location, amenities & apartment were a perfect base for myself & 2 children while we attended the equestrian festival. We'll definitely try to book in again here next year!

This was the second time that we have stayed at M & Ms. They are wonderful hosts, the location is excellent for walking around or catching buses and being an apartment, there is a lot of space to spread out. We highly recommend the apartment and the excellent hosts.

what a lovely stay. Linda is a fab host, very responsive and helpful. North Adelaide is a beautiful suburb, lots within walking distance and amazing food just a few minutes walk away. the apartment was super child friendly and clean, we loved it and have recommended it to friends who live in Adelaide and have guests coming. thank you for a great stay!
