We had a fabulously relaxing stay at Teapai’s. Communication prior to arrival was great. We were picked up at the airport and shown around the house. My husband, daughter and I were very comfortable. The majority of our time was spent on the huge front porch enjoying the breeze and spending time with the house dog Chupie. Since restaurants on Tikehau are limited, we cooked dinner several times at the house. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and each bedroom had a floor fan. Bicycles were available for us to use, and when we had a flat tire, Roger came over quickly to repair it. Our favorite two things about Teapai’s place were the front porch and the small beach located 100m behind the house. The water was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the reef sharks swim by.

Wendy’s place is worderful. Simple but genuine house. Very welcoming atmosphere and you feel immediately at home. She does her outmost to make your holiday perfect. No matter were you are in Fakarava, there is never more than 100m to the beach. Make sure to rent bicycles, because the motu stretches 10km to the north (where the best beaches are) and 20km to the south. There is one bike at the house, but if you need more, Wendy will assist. If you want a genuine Fakarava accomodation this is it. If you are not fluent in french, Wendy’s place is even better…she is the english teacher in the village.

A perfect place to stay - Makemo is paradise

We had a great stay a the place - close from the dock, snacks, … The house is well furnished and equiped. Terahere has been a fantastic host, making our stay easy by helping us swiftly.

Extraordinary! If you have to go to Rangiroa, feel free to go to Simone's! She is a rare kindness, without measure, always at your care, always accessible. The accommodation is beautiful by the sea, with its feet in the water. The house is very spacious. The rooms are large, thoughtfully decorated. We are already thinking about coming back to Simone's place because we really had a crush. Thank you Simone for your kindness, hospitality and kindness. A beautiful meetup! See you soon.

Léa and Pony were super friendly and endearing hosts. They came to fetch us at the airport welcoming us with a flower necklace and a shell necklace when taking us back. They also invited us to dinner one night with them making us taste local dishes. The accommodation is located in a very quiet place and right next to one of the best beaches in the atoll. You do not expect any luxury, the best is to spend a few days living the local life.

We were very well hosted by Jean-Yves and his team, who are very attentive to the guests. The location is amazing, the equipment available is nice, and the listings match the photos and descriptions. Jean-Yves holds the pension with a beautiful joie de vivre and he is a cook who knows how to delight his guests (fresh fish, nice desserts...). We really enjoyed the day trip offered by the pension: with Alexis and his colleagues, we had very nice moments between the bird island, the pink sand motu, the barbecue (grilled fish, coconut bread,rice, cabbage salad and raw fish...). Emotion was present at check out as this week full of activities was perfect!

Pony and Lea are endearing and very friendly hosts, they came to pick us up at the airport welcoming us with a necklace of flowers, and another of shells when taking us back the airport to our departure. Also one night we were invited to dine local food for a pleasant evening listening to their anecdotes. If you want to spend some authentic days, it is worth staying with them for a few days. It is not a super luxury but it is a way of getting to know the local life and it is also just next to one of the best beaches in the atoll.

We really enjoyed our stay with Pony. From the moment we were collected from the airport, we felt at home. He was helpful throughout our stay and we really appreciated the free bikes to explore! Thank you

Bungalow on the beach beautiful environment near bike, kayak and paddle board . Very good welcome Esther is an excellent cook. She cooked us. We loved about super dishes and the excursion offered by the pension is very nice to do. We had a great day. We recommend the pension.
