Unesco heritage 4 hours from home. Take a ferry trip or rent kayaks to discover the area. I recommend an overnight stay. Start from Flåm or Gudvangen. In 24 hours you can check this place on your bucket list 😊🤙

The wildest and most beautiful branch of the Sognefjord. The Naeroyfjord the most beautiful and wildest arm of the Sognefjord is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Fjord cruises in unique setting, with sheer, snow-topped mountains, waterfalls and idyllic farms clinging to the mountainsides. The Nærøyfjord is 17 km long and the narrowest point is only 250 m wide. The passage through Nærøyfjord is one of the most dramatic fjord trips in Europe. A passenger boat between Gudvangen-Aurland-Flåm is running all year. You'll also see charterboats and large cruiseship coming and going in the fjord area. The most breathtaking Norwegian fjord, on Unesco's World Heritage list. Drive to Kaupanger, leave your car there, take the ferry to Gudvangen, tour-detour, 5 hour boat trip. Or take the car with you on the ferry (only 2,5 hour boat trip) and go via Flåm (famous train), Aurland and Lærdal (beautiful old wooden town) on your way back.
