Monthly Rentals in Thirlmere

The location is stunning - like staying in the middle of your own private botanic gardens! I recommend bringing a picnic mat to enjoy the full beauty of the different locations in the gardens. The accommodation has gorgeous architecture, clean and elegant furniture and modern amenities. We brought our own firewood and enjoyed the well-kept fireplace. Perhaps the only thing missing was a bedside lamp, because we loved snuggling inside to read just as much as wandering the gardens. As other reviews state, there are limited utensils in the kitchen (e.g. no scissors, no spatulas, no large bowls, one pot and one pan) so bring your own if you're planning a complicated meal. Overall, a beautiful experience and a great place to spend time with a loved one and reconnect with nature.

We enjoyed our short stay at Cumnock Cottage during the school holidays. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including necessary equipment for meals etc. The garden was very picturesque and relaxing. There is lots to do nearby and we enjoyed strawberry and persimmon picking and horse riding. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we will back for another holiday soon.

Hayley's property was amazing! Lovely humble abode and exactly as pictured, great communication and clear instructions. Very accommodating stay and would highly recommend.

We had the most beautiful weekend. Evi's place is AMAZING and so is Evi! Nothing was too much trouble. The Tiny House was just beautiful and exactly as it was described and pictured. Little touches everywhere you look. You can see that Evi has put a lot of love into this place. The birdlife was great and varied. Even got to hand feed a few of the tame ones!!! The Fire Pit was amazing and kept us warm and so comfy! We would highly recommend The Tiny Home, and we will certainly be back Deb and Mal Clark
