I had a wonderful stay at Island cove homestay! The location is absolutely beautiful – peaceful, serene, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind in nature. Sarika and Rakesh were incredibly helpful hosts; they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and even recommended attending a local Theyyam performance, which was an unforgettable cultural experience. There are convenient food options nearby as well, which made the stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

We travelled from Bangalore to visit some of the temples and to see they Theyyam festival. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was serene and peaceful, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, the spacious driveway could park at least three cars or serve as a play area for kids. The dining area was spacious and comfortably seated six. The kitchen was the highlight, well-equipped for a traveling family, allowing us to cook baby food and make tea for aged parents. The bedrooms were well-furnished with fresh linens and efficient air conditioning. Nearby, there were medical stores, supermarkets, grocery stores, small hotels, and juice centers within walking distance. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and recommend it for families or groups of 6 to 8 people.

Room is clean and neat with super silent air conditioner, wardrobe with locker and cloth hangers, bedside tables, dressing table, spongy bed with multiple pillows and extra bed in case required. Washroom is clean with hot water and other amenities. Kitchen equipped with all appliances and essential consumables, compact dining arrangement. Inverter & ironing facility also available. Near to Bakel fort and beaches. Thrikkannapuram Thriambakeswara temple. On the bank of Bakel river. Cultivated coconut, arecanut & other fruit plant. An upcoming farm is a good view. Complementary breakfast is served, lunch & dinner to be managed by the guests. Nearby restaurant contacts are made available at the villa. Hospitality is fantastic throughout the stay and reachable over phone at any time for any assistance.

When you enter it you immediately feel the island vibe. Doc and his 4 dog buddies are the reason that makes the place even more magical. He's willing to tell you everything about the island and the Indian traditions like Theyyam and Kalaripayattu. Also willing to answer all your questions, especially the ones about coconuts; he's the coconut master. And he gave us an inside look into the real Kerala. We stayed in the Matsya house; it was cozy, comfy and clean. The house looks exactly like the pictures on air bnb. You can really see his artistic influence in the house. Besides all of this; the served food prepared by a chef is so finger-licking delicious, 3 times a day you feel like you're in heaven. We'll definitely come back for some liming, nalla.
