Monthly Rentals in Thurgoland

We stayed overnight. The property was easily accessed from the main road. The entrance road is very steep and the surface is uneven but the owner provides details of other nearby parking. The property is beautifully laid out with a large number of houseplants, beautiful art work and lovely decor. As such, its very calming. The owner provides bedding, towels, toiletries, tea and biscuits and a range of games, films and music. The only downside was a very strong smell of incence when we entered that dissipated after a few hours. Other than that, the house was lovely. Very cosy, private and well positioned for walks in the peaks.

We had an awesome time staying at the Sculpture Park End Cottage, with its beautiful view right on the porch. It was a spacious, comfortable house that had a lot of character for its age. John's parents were super friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to go and eat. I only had one complaint, we couldn't stay longer.

We had such a lovely time. A beautiful apartment with everything you need. Quiet and perfectly positioned to explore the surrounding areas. Parking is a bonus too. For anyone wanting to commute in to Sheffield it’s perfect as it’s right by the train station but you don’t hear the trains! Wonderful hosts, I would definitely recommend it.

Shirley and John were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was in a beautiful location and easy to find with Shirley's directions. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We would happily recommended this stay to anyone and would love to return to explore more of the area.
