The nicest summer house a few meters from the sea

Cottage for rent We have decided to rent out our beautiful cottage located on Grasten on the island of Thurø, which has a permanent connection to Svendborg. 200 meters from the cottage is the tourist ferry Helge, and with it you can sail all the way to Svendborg city. The house is 74 m2 and consists of a kitchen-dining-living room, 1 bathroom, entrance, bedroom, children's room and a rest area with a sofa bed. Large south-facing wooden terrace with garden table/chairs and barbecue. The house is located right next to Svendborgsund. In fact, there are only 10 meters down to your own beach and your own jetty, from which you can take a nice dip, catch crabs, collect stones and play, build sand castles, only the imagination sets limits. After various beach activities, you can enjoy a shower under the house's outdoor shower, which has both cold and hot water. The view is absolutely phenomenal with a view of Langeland, Tåsinge (Valdemarslot). At sea, there is always life of sailing ships and boats, as our house is located right at the entrance to Svendborg. In addition, many birds, porpoises and seals are seen. Everywhere is green and peaceful, no noise from cars, only birdsong to break the silence. There are large forests a walk away. If you are interested in fishing, you can catch flatfish, trout, etc. from the jetty. We have two kayaks and two children's kayaks that can be borrowed. Life jackets for children and adults are also available. We also have a beautiful Finnish sauna in wood, built by real Finns who even brought wood and a stove from Finland. Enjoy a dip in the sea and then experience the warmth of the lovely sauna. There is room for 1 family of max. 4 people. You must bring your own linen, towels, dishcloths, tea towels, etc. We have no TV, but lots of board games 😉 Wifi is available. Facilities: Dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, electric kettle, fridge + freezer, Nespresso machine, toaster. The house is heated with electric heat, in addition to a wood pellet stove. The price is exclusive of electricity consumption. Electricity meter is checked on arrival and departure and paid via mobile pay to no. 60619449 or in cash. Everything must be cleaned up/emptied and then cleaned by a cleaning company.

The guest house is directly down to the boat and bathing jetty, where there are 2 bathing ladders. There is a great hiking/biking trail next to the guest house. We provide 2 bicycles, so experience on your own how beautiful Thurø is with its forest, beach, water and nature. The guest house is within walking distance of the grocery store (300 meters).

Thurø is connected by bridge to Svendborg.

Stay in your own house on the island of Thurø in the middle of the beautiful, southern Funen countryside with the forest as a neighbor and close to the water. You can enjoy good beaches and hike in the island's forests and out on the beach meadows. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the old woodcutting workshop. The house has its own entrance. It includes a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. In total, the house is 40 square meters with its own terrace and access to the garden. Not suitable for wheelchair users.

The apartment is bright and friendly with its own kitchen and dining area for 4 people, refrigerator with small freezer and full service. The apartment has 2 rooms. The first bedroom is a living room with a brand new sofa bed and bedroom 2 has a double bed. Please note that the 2 rooms have a shared exit.

'Hyggelig' holiday accommodation totally renovated in 2015 with floor-heated tiled floors. This is a fully self contained guest apartment occupying one of four 'chains' of the old farm. The apartment is arranged with a kitchen including all amenities. There is a beautiful view of the sea to Long Island from the garden, and the apartment is 750 metres from the coast where there is a small idyllic harbour. The farm is situated in stunning nature - especially good for wildlife and bird-watching.

Unique 30 m2 Tiny House by the lake.

Cozy annexe, situated beautifully at Ollerup lake. The annex was built in 2021 with raw brick walls and wooden ceilings, which gives a very special atmosphere. There is a new 140x 200cm bed in the living room, as well as a loft with the possibility of 2 overnight guests. There is a private entrance, large wooden terrace and access to Ollerup lake and garden. You can borrow a rowing boat. Kitchen: There are two hotplates, fridge with small freezer, fully equipped kitchen.

Welcome to our newly constructed house by the sea – literally, just a few steps away from the clear waters of Svendborg Sound. This idyllic and spacious property (94 sq. meters on two floors) has unobstructed views of the south Funen archipelago – in fact, nature is your only and closest neighbor. Treat yourself to a few days away from it all! All beds will be made for your arrival. We supply crisp white linen and fresh towels (beach towels too) for all our guests.

There is free parking outside the courtyard and check-in is via lockbox.

Our cottage is just a stone's throw from a charming harbor environment, where there is both the opportunity to eat and let the children play in the large playground. The lovely beach, Halen, with a swimming bridge is only 800 meters away, perfect for a day of sun and sea. Shopping opportunities with small shops in the pedestrian street and grocery shopping with a bakery are about 1 km from the cottage.
