Scrag Oak Oast

KarenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Having stayed at Scrag Oak over Easter, I have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful place to others. We stayed with our children aged 13 & 10 and their Grandparents came too. Everyone loved the surroundings and the sense of getting away from it all. Each bedroom had a toilet next to it or an en suite, which was a quite a luxury. The beds are very comfortable and each bedroom had lovely touches such as hangers, chairs, hooks, places to hang the soft bath towels once used etc. The kitchen was also well equipped, with a large fridge freezer that worked well, as did the oven and dishwasher. We enjoyed hanging out so much in the kitchen area, we barely used the lounge which was upstairs (the twin bedroom is downstairs). Katie is a kind and responsive host and it is obvious from how the house is set up that your enjoyment and comfort whilst staying is paramount. I hope we might be able to stay again in the future.

A Delightful two bedroom detached country Cottage.

MaartenRating, 5 starstoday
The cottage is exactly what you hope for when you think of a British country escape; it feel cosy, homely and comfortable inside (especially the beds..), the garden is a dream when the weather allows and the village with the pub only steps away, provides everything you need. The park at the end of the little footpath is a great spot to have kids and dogs run of exces energy with playgrounds, football pitch and even a skatepark. The surrounding area has plenty to see and do between hikes, beaches and lovely villages. I think rain or shine, summer or winter, you’ll have a wonderful time with family or friends.

The Annex at Buttons Farm

NicolaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Annex is absolutely delightful - clean, characterful and well equipped. We loved playing on the indoor table tennis and table football. There is a beautiful sunny garden which was brilliant for playing with our dog and was a great sun trap. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The area is wooded and has some outstandingly beautiful walks. Plenty of nearby attractions such as Chartwell and Scotney Castle...also not too far from Rye on the coast. We'll definitely be back. Thanks Sophie.
