Holiday rentals with lake access in Tijuana

Daniel is a wonderful host. Very friendly and gives great tips on the area as he used to live there. The house is in a secure and beautiful location with both the beach and estuary within walking distance. Everything was as described and the layout was perfect. The Mexican people you find in the neighborhood are very friendly. If you don't speak Spanish, though, this is probably a good choice - the gated neighborhood is full of Americans as is one of the local eating/shopping areas. There is a beautiful horse stable on the trail as well which is fun to check out. Daniel is doing some work on this house so I won't mention some areas that need attention as I'm sure he'll address those. You will need a car to get to most places but could hike to a local store and to get prepared food if you don't mind a 20ish minute walk. It was my favorite of all the places I've visited in Baja (4 o far) and I'll definitely be back if I can!

This house is amazing! It's a little in the middle of nowhere, but close to a little grocery store, and not far from Lake Morena, which is a great place to go boating. We also used it as a base from which to go to Julian to enjoy apple picking and fall activities. The house itself is huge and so comfortable! Four bedrooms, a huge living room and family room, a dining room, a giant eat-in kitchen, a huge master bath with a whirlpool tub. The kids enjoyed the chess board table. And Cindy was really nice when our dog left a surprise on one of the bedroom rugs and we didn't notice it before we left (oops). But the best thing is the grounds. There's a wonderful hot tub, not one but two fire pits, and a very friendly horse, Splash, who let us pet and feed her. We even played cornhole in the front yard. We met Cindy and she couldn't have been friendlier. I'd definitely recommend this house to any large group coming to the area!

Had such a great experience! Chris was always quick to respond to messages. The place had more space than I even realized! The description was accurate, and every part of the house was lovely and decorated so nicely. We only wish we could have stayed longer to use all the amenities! But, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was perfect for our family which included a 22 month old. The hosts thought of everything one could need! Used the stroller everyday to walk to the beach boardwalk just down the walkway and to Bay boardwalk just across the street. Super clean, comfortable and one of the top AirBnBs we’ve stayed in. Highly recommend!!

I've rented on the in mission Beach south multiple times. On the walkway facing the ocean. However, this place takes the cake no doubt. The place has all the amenities listed, Doug / Shawn care about this property and it shows. They have everything you can think of and more. A sewing kit was in the house. Who thinks about the unthinkable? These fine gentlemen do. Plus, this place comes with a garage (very rare) in South Mission Beach. Doug has won our business for life. The attention to detail, the friendly follow-ups, and always seeking ways to improve. Mission Beach is special but Doug and his family made it memorable. Thank you for all you've done! Really cute mid-century modern home in a very convenient part of town for seeing sites across the area. Very close to SDSU, but also close to downtown and easy access to several freeways. The house itself is nicely decorated, in a fun mid-mo style. Everything was very clean and very comfortable. The house is well stocked with everything we needed, and stocked in a way that is well organized. The house backs up to a steep cliff and is on a cul-de-sac, so the back yard and the house itself is pretty quiet, despite being in a college-adjacent neighborhood. We had a nice relaxing stay. Recommended - Would definitely stay again.

I was there primarily to escape the noise from construction at my home. The quality bed and pillows plus the quiet suited my needs perfectly. I tripped the circuit breaker late at night and I was promptly told where the breaker box was located.
