There is an open plan living room/kitchen solution and on the living room there is a TV. Has internet. There is no dishwasher or washing machine in the cabin. There is a private parking space. We want everyone to experience nature as closely as possible. Therefore, we have built three small cabins/houses, with large glass surfaces everywhere, so that you can sit inside and enjoy the mountains, the horizon, the sea, the sunsets and the midnight sun. Now it's not always sunny on the island, so we have a nice sofa, which can be daybed too, for moments when you want to sit inside under the blanket, look at the rain and the wind, but still get a great experience of the changing nature.

Your own private cabin, with the ocean right outside your window. Inside you find three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and a bathroom. Go outside and enjoy the view from the sea side patio, complete with furniture and a campfire pan. New cottage from 2014 just 10 km from Evenes Airport. The cabin is located halfway (260 km each way) between Tromsø and Å on the mainland of Lofoten. The cottage has a simple and good standard with most amenities one expects to find in a regular home. The cottage has lovely views towards Tjeldsundet in the north and has midnight sun from late May to mid July. In the dark part of the year there are good conditions for admiring the Northern Lights.

The Blue House - Blokken

A genuine and cozy house from 1900 with an amazing atmosphere and view. The Blue House is an optimal base for hiking, skiing, kayaking, snowshoe trekking and mountaineering. Fishing in the lakes or in the sea is right outside the door. Maps, first aid kit are available free of charge. The house is just renovated, and painted in colors chosen by the “blue city” artist, Bjørn Elvenes. Charger for electric cars is available for an extra fee.
