It provides an ideal base to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire including; Howarth, the home of the Brontes, Halifax, including the Piece Hall and Shibden Hall, the home of Anne Lister and the Pennine Way.

There are fantastic walks, loads of fascinting local history, independent shops and places to eat and drink. We have a safe space for cyclists to store bikes, too!

Built in 1860 for workers at the nearby cotton mill, this home has many period and original features. If you love walking / mountain biking again this is the place with many walks and trails on your door step . We can now accommodate 3 people at the cottage, we have a double bed and sofa bed . There is also a lockable bike shed should any of our cycling guests need it . Lots of free parking
