【Teshima’s Ocean View Retreat Tokuto】King Villa

Tokuto is a newly renovated private mansion built in the 1940s on Teshima. It is conveniently located about 15mins walk from Ieura Port. Enjoy the luxurious architecture of the past, such as the authentic hand blown window glass, Onigawara (Japanese gargoyle roof tiles), and the beautiful gardens with an abundance of stone lanterns. The building consists of 2 villas, King Villa & Queen Villa. As a measure against infectious diseases, we accept one group for each building.

Welcome to Wasyugama, a traditional Bizen pottery kiln guesthouse in the peaceful hills near Kurashiki, Okayama. Stay beside an active pottery workshop and experience the quiet charm of rural Japan. Most guests stay 2–3 nights, but longer stays are warmly welcomed. The house, hand-built with natural wood by my father and me, is a private rental with kitchen, bath, and beds for up to 5 guests. A 150-year-old traditional Japanese inn for private use. Enjoy local cuisine made with plenty of yuzu juice by the 88-year-old proprietress Emi-chan, as well as a traditional hearth and Goemon bath. ･Sushi made with yuzu juice. ･Buckwheat soup, a representative local dish of Tokushima, etc. *No WiFi/internet access At an altitude of 650m, it is cool all year round, and you can enjoy waterfalls.
