Campsite holiday rentals in Tornado Alley

A fantastic stop in Wilson for the history buffs! You will be “roughing it” some but Matthew has provided some amenities like a composting toilet and a primitive shower house. The tent sites were laid out in a way that gave each site a fair bit of privacy but with plenty of room. The old missile silo site is super cool and Matthew is doing a great job bringing it back to life. I have not taken the underground tour yet but am looking forward to it on my next visit. Matthew is super friendly and it was exciting to listen to his vision and plans to develop the missile silo even further! A highlight for me on this stay was the community fire pit that Matthew started. It offered a great chance to hang out and chat with some fellow guests who were staying on the site.

Friendly and attentive hosts! Matthew and the dogs will greet you with a smile! Nice place to camp just a few miles from the interstate. As advertised, it's a work in progress, but definitely worth a stop to get a glimpse of the past and where it's taken us. Please stop by and donate.

We had an amazing stay with Leah! Such an awesome place, great atmosphere, clean, inviting and such a great value. Leah went above and beyond to accommodate us and to make us feel welcome and we can hardly wait to see her again!!!

Only had a short time to stay this trip but can't wait to get back there again. I sat under the stars last night, and I swear I could see every one.

Cozy and relaxing airstream. It felt as if we were actually camping 🏕️ clear view of the stars ✨ and a great place to start a fire and enjoy smores with the kiddos. Wake up to the sunrise and enjoy a quiet beautiful view to birds chirping and deer feeding. 🧘🏻‍♀️Lake has a nice swing that never failed to soothe my baby into a nap. The pool was so clean and relaxing. The property itself has many activities to keep your entire family busy. Very clean all around. A UTV rental is a must and if you’re lucky and quiet you’ll spot many deer on your adventure. We’re definitely coming back and staying in an airstream again! Best Staycation ever!

Beautiful view of the sunrise from the deck. We enjoyed hearing the birds in the morning. The yurt was simply but beautifully furnished. Bathroom shower was excellent. We had a great one night stay!

I enjoyed my stay and I think my little dachshund did too! The animals and the pond were just a plus to the whole place and early in the morning and late in the afternoon the deer are really cool to not only watch but take pictures, you’ll even laugh here and there when you get to see the dogs play tag with the animals they have on the property.

This spot was amazing for a weekend getaway, we loved everything about it. The spot is really peaceful and quiet and not even a 6 minute drive to winstar. Teresa was absolutely amazing she responded super quickly and even went out of her way to get another wifi router for us when the wifi wasn’t working. Will definitely be coming back here on our next weekend getaway!

The location was pristine and relaxing. We felt right at home with the animals and meeting her grandkids. She toured us around the property and the value and supplies in the Rv was top notch. I would absolutely recommend this listing. Turtles, donkeys, cows, so many birds, a chorus of exuberant frogs at night all made for a great stay. Wifi was very strong.

I hope all hosts are as great as Amber. We had a small issue, and she and her husband were both over to get it remedied. We couldn’t ask for better hosts. We will definitely look to stay there again.

Absolutely lovely and delightful place! Very cozy and comfy. I’d recommend bringing earplugs in case the nearby rooster is as vocal as he was during our stay, especially pre-dawn.

This was our sister trip. They were very accommodating to the one sister that was blonde, which made her feel very special. Especially around animals

Scott and family are great hosts, I stayed at their camp site previously while I was in town for work & they have always been fantastic. Very peaceful & quiet, right on the lake! I won’t hesitate to stay again next time I’m in town!
