Cottage holiday rentals in Tornado Alley

We stayed here 3 nights over spring break as a family of 6. I gave this a 5 star review, as the host is very responsive, and property was generally as described. The location is pretty tucked away, and we appreciated the seclusion for some quiet family time. The hot tub was amazing, and the ample number of beds was great. The kids loved the detached game room! A few caveats/feedback: -the floors could definitely be cleaner. We ended up all having to wear house shoes full time bc our feet were getting grimy just walking around the house. -the extra toilet paper was great, as was the shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided. -I would not recommend this location for kids under 6 years old (the age of our youngest) due to the steep outdoor steps and lack of railing down to the water. Not necessarily dangerous- just not ideal for little ones. -the deck/patio area is huge and very nice for lounging. Not the best kept in regard to light fixtures/cleanliness, but functional. Overall awesome!!

Beautiful home and amazing hosts. We arrived at the home and a man was doing some gardening work for the homeowners. The co host Paul asked me and my parent if we wanted him to leave and come back another time. I was very appreciative of this gesture. The home was extremely clean. I loved the white noise box, I fell asleep immediately listening to it!! Absolutely loved this place.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse! The layout was perfect for us, with the game room on the other side of the house offering a fun space to unwind. The large kitchen island and well-equipped butler's pantry made Christmas cookie baking a breeze! We loved starting our mornings by watching the sunrise and relaxing in the hot tub right out front. Evenings were made extra special with quick s'mores around the fire pit. The Christmas tree added a festive touch, making our holiday stay feel extra cozy. The peaceful and scenic surroundings were the icing on the cake. We couldn’t have asked for a more serene and beautiful location. We hope to return and celebrate more holidays here in the future. The grey cottage was amazing for our family to spend the weekend away from home and right by the lake! We had so much fun! Even though it rained all day Saturday there were so many games and things to do inside so that was a huge plus! Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to feel at home while away for the weekend!

We loved it nice and quiet. We enjoyed the lakefront and hot tub. But especially being able to fish and get on the water and enjoy the boat.

My best friend and I had the most amazing stay at this cozy, artsy Airbnb in the heart of the Bishop Arts District! The space was peaceful, beautifully decorated, and full of charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after exploring. We loved being able to walk to all the great restaurants, shops, and nightlife — but some of our favorite moments were just relaxing on the deck with a cup of coffee, soaking in the quiet. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of energy and relaxation, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

We had an excellent stay, Kristen was always very responsive and made sure all of our needs were met. We had a great time in the hot tub and just enjoying the place/ surroundings overall. Everything makes you feel right at home.

So cute! My kids loved it too. Big upstairs loft ,with a nice bathroom . 4 Beds upstairs and 2 downstairs. Spacious living room. You open the door, you are looking right at the beautiful water. The dock is perfect for fishing and enjoying the day. The space was clean and ready. We had a great time. thank you ! 🫶

This trip was a special trip, not just for my daughter and I, but for my grandma and great aunt. We went and visited places they haven’t seen in over 50 years. Old living quarters, including the Moore-Lindsay house. It was great.

I LOVED staying at Jarrod’s place. It was in a quaint location, and walking in felt just like home. Super clean, great amenities, and loved being able to bring my pup.

Peaceful adorable home in a quiet location! Just a few minutes from town and every night we had a good sleep! The home is perfect and had everything we needed to cook supper each night. The kids enjoyed the pool and several nights we played board games that were provided. The host has the best towels and they also have pool towels provided. The neighbors are quiet and kind and are just down the road as the house sits on a slight hill. This was a first time to Texas. We were very happy with the home. Mornings are a beautiful time to watch the birds from the dining room table or the patio. We had lots of choices for this area but this home was budget friendly and we are glad we made the choice!

Perfect little house in a super quiet neighborhood. All the comforts that a house should have. Make sure to stop at the market for supplies and get breakfast at the Tee Pee!

Great location. Lake was visible from the backyard and it was calming after a long day at work.

This place was WONDERFUL! My boyfriend and I came for the weekend and we just loved everything about the stay. We fished, watched the sunset, we did our intimate gender reveal by the lake and also just walked around and enjoyed the nature. We are most definitely going to come back asap. Also thank you to Kelley the Host she was the sweetest person ever and very welcoming! 😊

This place is a happy house...i just couldnt stop looking at all the delightful pretties inside and out...a castle in Italy could not compare....its hand crafted pretties, extra goodies, lil fireplace, and decor envelops you with peace that creates an ambiance of pure tranquility....i did not want to leave... Tiny has other houses also with the same impeccable qualities...just cozy and homey....and everything is done by hand... Simply lovely...

Our family truley enjoyed our stay. A very peaceful getaway, the grandkids had lots of fun. Susan responded quickly to any questions I had. I look forward to returning.

My husband and I have stated here when we want to get away from the hustle and bustle of our big family and very busy life.
