Cozy cottage by the stunning Tornio River

Tanja was very nice and helpful. The house is very cozy, secluded, quiet… it is in an idyllic place and has everything you need and more. If I went back, I would stay here again. At first, the snowy roads and the hour and a half to Rovaniemi may be scary, but it's well worth it. There's an incredible tranquility. There's not a sound. The house is at a very good temperature. Again, I greatly appreciate Tanja for all the details and her attention.

An atmospehric log cabin by the river Tornionjoki

We loved our stay at Sampo’s place. The cabin had an amazing view of the river and is located in a very quiet neighbourhood. We saw the northern light over the river right from the cabin. The place was well equipped with all necessary things and the availability of snowshoes was nice! Sampo was always responsive to all of our queries throughout the stay A small note maybe, we would have appreciated if the coffee and sugar was available. Overall, we had a great time!

Too bad we couldn't each of us leave a 5-stars review. Paula has been an amazing host. Proactive and reactive, we have been welcomed very well. The place is very well equipped with everything you need for icy conditions on the lake. Paula and her husband made a hole in the icy lake for us to dive after the sauna, the experience has been really... cool 🥶 The environment is beautiful, wild nature all around. Overall we couldn't have hoped for a better experience, it was downright perfect. Thank you Paula!

Luxury wilderness sauna cabin

We had an amazing time at the cabin. We got a Bolt from the city ( €65 each way ) as we did not want to hire a car. We stocked up on food and drink at the supermarket before setting off. The Cabin is truly wonderful, so peaceful with beautiful views. I knew we would have a composting toilet, however there is a very clean flushable toilet only a 3 minute walk away. I thought I would miss having a shower, but found the Finnish way of bathing in the Sauna to be enjoyable. We saw the Northern Lights both nights, dipped in the ice hole, poached in the hot tub, went for lovely walks ( and used the snow shoes! ) The bed was so comfortable we had great nights sleep. I would recommend this cabin to all. We loved it and would come back again in a heartbeat.

We spent 10 days in this beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. The magnificent lake closeby, the remoteness and still having Pello and Rovaniemi at a good driving distance, the quietness and every morning that lovely view from all of the windows, the sauna, the crisp morning air, ....we look back at a fantastic time : we fell in love with Pello-Lappi. Thank you Aini and Risto and Hanna, for letting us spend time on your property ; it was a privilege. Thank you for the personal stories you shared, for your kindness, your friendlyness. We would love to be back and see the place in an other season.

We had a wonderful stay at Henri’s Airbnb! The place was beautiful, clean, and cozy—just as described. Everything was perfectly prepared, and the wood-fired sauna was a real highlight. Henri was a great host, very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back. Thank you!

An atmospheric single-family home in the midst of nature

We had a very nice time at this place! Wonderfully quiet location in beautiful surroundings, ideal for unwinding and relaxing. For activities you often have to drive for a while, but you are in the middle of nature and can just go outside the door at night and see the northern lights (if you can see) - that was a very great experience! The sauna was also very pleasant ( the hot tub was unfortunately currently frozen and out of service). There is everything you need in the house and it is very cozy there. We were there with our two-year-old son, and he also felt very comfortable and - like us - had a lot of fun in the snow!

We were only passing through for 1 night, but we felt very comfortable right away. The house is very cozyly furnished and there is everything you need. Upon arrival, the beds were already made and it was nice and warm. The hosts were very friendly. The value is great. We'd love to recommend it.

The Paradise Chalet in Lapland. Peaceful place, it felt like home, a real little paradise! Comfortable bedding, all the essentials on site and special mention at the fireplace: what a treat watching the snow fall... Thank you for Sinikka's responsiveness! We had a great time, we would have extended it by a few days...

The ground floor, the cozy cottage

Our little family enjoyed the cabin (or cabins) very much. We went boating, saunaed, fishing and just enjoyed the tranquility that was there. Would have loved to stay longer but we were just passing through so it had to be two nights there. Maritta was really nice and answered any questions we had. She is also a baker, so take the opportunity to buy good bread from her when you get there. (Unfortunately, we forgot it on the day of departure..) We would be glad to come again sometime!

A cottage in a quiet location provided a good night's sleep. A fantastic place to stay for the Northern Lights photographer, as the beach has a great view of the north and west, and the aurora borealis is easy to get reflective photos and there's no light pollution.

The house was completely fine and very clean. A cozy living room and good beds. There was a lot of cooking utensils present in the kitchen. The surroundings are ideal to relax completely. You can wander endlessly on beautiful trails. Petri is a very pleasant and friendly host and also organizes excursions for his guests. We are going to visit a reindeer farm with him, and with the snowmobile go ice fishing on the river. Beautiful northern lights also seen!
