We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, dog-friendly cottage near Camelford! Allowing dogs was a crucial factor, and the spacious garden was perfect the dog.The location is ideal for exploring Tintagel, Boscastle, and Polperro, while the setting is peaceful and private. The cottage itself is well-equipped, with a spacious kitchen and a stunning bathroom as the centrepiece. The garden is massive and has a stunning view of the neighbouring farm as seen in the photos, and they don't do the place justice. The cozy fire stove in the living room made our evenings extra special. A fantastic bonus was the amazing Indian takeaway in the village, and the nearby petrol station was really convenient. If you’re looking for a tranquil, comfortable retreat in Cornwall, this is the perfect place.

My parents had a wonderful stay at Clare’s cottage. The space and location were perfect for a few days away. Clare was extremely quick with communication and very kind to my parents when they ran into car trouble! Highly recommend :)

We stayed at Thyme at the Old Herbery in camelford for one night in May 2025, and it was a peaceful and pleasant experience.The room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, and a big garden shown as in the picture.The host was incredibly welcoming and gave us great tips on local attractions and food spots. It was the perfect base to explore the nearby hiking trails. We also loved the homemade bread ,egg, bottle of milk and juice.We would definitely recommend this place and we would go back to this place again.

Wonderful stay in great accommodation. The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable and catered for everything we needed. The location is quiet but Camelford and it's amenities were easily accessible on foot. General location is great as well for accessing Cornwall's sights. Good recommendations from Mark as well for beaches, places to eat and local gems of things to do.
