Part of the Ponder farm dating back to 1906, we have a little house that offers a peaceful environment overlooking the family farm with a picturesque old barn, surrounded by tree lined fields. Enjoy the updated home with fully furnished kitchen, queen bed, and open front and back porches for relaxing in the quiet countryside. We are located just south of Sherman off Hwy 11, close to Austin College, with easy access to Highway 75.

Enjoy gazing at the enormous sky for star gazing or settle into the front porch chairs to watch the brilliant sunset. A grass volleyball court is right outside your front door, and if the weather keeps you inside - then enjoy a movie and electric fireplace. Don't forget to say hello to the adorable goat greeters!

Blue Ridge Texas Ranch Escape

Our tiny space features remote entry and your own porch for sitting and enjoying the sunset. Approximately 550 sq. feet with many amenities. The queen size bed is a murphy bed and can be folded up to give you more space. There is also a fold out bed, all linens provided. This type bed is best for a child, teen, or small adult. We have alpaca, emu, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, dogs, & cats. The space has a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, crockpot, blender, sink, dishes.

Sparrow Nest (2 bedroom cottage)

Sparrow Nest will be closed to visitors from June 1st thru October 2nd for a family matter. We hope to see you in the fall! Accessed off hwy 121 and 78. Backs up to forest and faces sunny fields. The home contains a fully stocked kitchen, a laundry room with washer/dryer, 2 large bedrooms (queen and full beds) and a cozy living room. Flower gardens around the home bloom most of the spring through fall. A tower outside the house ensures good WIFI for work or to enjoy movies!

Lakeview Oasis

Peaceful secluded stay on 30 acres just an hour to an hour and a half away from Dallas. Overlook a private 5 acre lake and take in the scenery. It is a great place for individuals that can navigate our rural setting and varied terrain.
