Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Troy

We had an amazing time!! Place was amazing, views spectacular as promised, and we loved the stove/fireplace. The 4WD note is real — our rental car company failed us, gave us a 2WD, and we couldn’t get up the driveway. We parked at the bottom of the hill … it was a 5-10min walk and not an issue for anyone in our group. So, make sure you have 4WD, or if you don’t mind a walk, that might work too!

Our group of friends (a few adults and a few babies) absolutely loved our weekend at the Farmhouse! It’s a beautiful home and surrounding area, and an easy drive to downtown Stowe and the mountain. Highly recommend!

Sally was extremely responsive when it came to communication, and her binder gives you everything you could possibly need to know about not only the house but the whole area in general. She is an amazing host

PERFECT winter getaway! The location was amazing…our room had a wonderful view of the mountain, pool and hot tub. The resort itself was beautiful-great staff! Nice shops, excellent dining and bars! And, of course-snowboarding! Will definitely return! Can’t say enough about Stowe Mountain Resort! AWESOME!

This is our third experience at Amanda’s Airbnb. As always it’s a cute, beautiful, and clean place. Great location for our pets to be able to run around. Looking forward to staying here again!

We had a lovely time at this quaint mountainous home. The neighbor nearby had some horses that grazed near the home every morning and the vistas in the distance were incredible to see. We would love to come back again next year, maybe during the more peak foliage season. Thank you all so much for your hospitality, especially for providing us an extra night!

Andree-Anne's house is filled with charm and welcoming energy. It is a large but also cozy space artfully decorated and perfect for gathering.

Great location, close to skiing, park, and spas. Cozy and warm accommodations with beautiful surroundings. The hot tub is great. Elaine is very helpful!

Our group enjoyed Hélène’s place for our 1-night getaway! Nicely appointed & great location to the cute walkable town of Bromont. Only recco that I have if possible would be a small sign on the back door of the building where it was recommended to enter. Like “Bromont Lodge Entrance” or something similar. While it is the only door, it appeared to lead to a medi-spa, so we were confused:) Once we stepped inside all other instructions were crystal clear! Would love to check out another of Hélène’s places again!

Beautiful little cozy and warm cottage. We were two adults and two kids, we had enough space and especially a lot of fun despite the rainy weather. The facilities are rudimentary but completely in accordance with the description and everything is functional. The micro chalet is located really close to the parking lot and Club Houde which can be a good option with children. The outdoor terrace with the fire spot is a nice plus to the cottage. I will definitely return in the summer.

We absolutely loved this Airbnb!!! So much space for a large group of friends or a large family. Very easy driving distance to the Stowe Mountain for skiing and downtown for food and drinks. Great lounging areas for relaxing, large tables for eating and playing board games, and great storage spaces for ski bags/boots. It was very nice having so many restrooms throughout the house, and a large kitchen space for cooking with all the appliances and pots/pans you would ever need. Beautiful views from the hot tub and deck! Lastly, Kristin provided proactive and amazing communication throughout our stay! Highly recommend this beautiful Airbnb if you are visiting Stowe!

Stayed at Mike’s place for 3 nights while skiing at Jay Peak. Ideal location and was just the perfect layout and space for my party of 6. Even with 3 adults and 3 kids there was still plenty of extra space for additional guests. Some nice restaurants just down the street towards Montgomery. The space was also ideal for cooking in and enjoying time with everyone. Have been to Jay Peak often and would certainly be interested in renting again.

Steve's place is spacious and welcoming. It has all necessary amenities and more. There were 8 of us traveling with 4 adults and 4 kids. The place was big enough for all of us, and the kids had a lot of fun playing in the basement. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to feed our group, from making lots of coffee in the morning to having a quiet dinner at night. The drive to Bromont Mountain was quick and easy, which made it very convenient to ski with the kids. We would recommend Steve's cottage and come back again.

Thank you for being such outstanding hosts! We love Stowe and are getting ready for our own home to be finished in the fall. We are getting married in October up at the mountain, and are looking forward to a VT fall! Your home was perfect for us and our pup Obi. We absolutely loved our few days there.

E.V.’s funky parlor was perfect for my friends and I to stay for a couple nights. Everything was very clean, the beds and linens were comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped and the price is reasonable for being 15 min from Stowe. We appreciated the thoughtful decorative touches and art, E.V. has created a peaceful, cozy space for guests to enjoy. Our visit focused mostly on skiing but I am certain that a stay during another season would be just as pleasant.

very nice experience at the cottage - kids liked it and we had lots of games and puzzles to do on a rainy day. interior stair will be remebered :) saw lots of deer and two wild turkeys every day on the gravel road to keep in mind when driving. ski is few minutes alway with a car. most of the close by restaurants (30min away) open after thursdays, so we were goint at the owls head hotel restaurant- not bad but need reservation on a busy days. overall excelent 5 day ski vacation. kuddos to the owner.

The cottage was cozy and peaceful, perfect for a winter weekend getaway! There was about 3 to 4 feet of snow on the ground but the stove kept the cottage nice and warm. The area was beautiful and we had a great time! We highly recommend staying here if you're visiting northern Vermont!

Listing as described and photos. We see that this house is being improved and that the owners are looking to preserve its authenticity while adapting it to the tastes of the day. We were looking for a place with 5 bedrooms and we don't regret choosing this one.

This is a very special place, new, nice decor, beautiful landscape scenery and sunset. Perfect for relaxation and decompression. The location is beautiful and the house is well equipped. Loved it ! Thanks Shelley, you were very nice and caring.

This is the fourth year we have booked Dogatraz island and look forward to it every time. Nick, the property manager is responsive, on time and super helpful. We love the private island and being able to let our dogs run free, especially our deaf dog. She always has to be on a leash where we live and being able to watch her run is priceless. Both pups love the kayak and the water (but neither will swim-LOL). I love the idea of no Wifi and forcing us to detach from our otherwise busy lives. Looking forward to next year!!

Great place to stay for a single person or a couple seeking a quiet setting, walks in the woods, or skiing at Stowe. No other houses in sight. Excellent value for money. Some details we loved: The lighted address sign, so when arriving after a long trip at night we knew we were in the right place. The wood stove was easy to use and the radiant heat was great after a winter day outdoors. The cabin is cozy, but that is not a euphemism for claustrophobic: it has lots of windows, two skylights, and plenty of space. Very communicative and hospitable host, Stephanie. We only dealt with her remotely, but she has a caretaker nearby. She made us feel welcome and was alway there to help. Our stay had more of a personal, than a corporate feel, which we appreciated. We were glad we had 4-wheel drive and snow tires. . guests should be sure to have one of those and, ideally, both, especially when snow is expected, as Stephanie will tell you. We would be happy to return to this home away from home.
