In winter, opportunities abound for ice fishing on the lake, using snowmobile trails and enjoying the cozy atmosphere provided by the indoor wood stove. Old Town Barbershop, Bold Hair Salon, bowling alley, gym and parks are all just minutes away as well. If you prefer to cook, we have grocery stores in the area.

The Hobbit House (Hot Tub)

This guest suite with a private entrance, is attached to our main house, where your hosting family lives. It's located in a quiet part of town tucked into the trees with a river and walking path across the street. It would be perfect if your travelling here for work or just need a relaxing getaway. This guest suite was once a chicken coop, now turned into a modern mid-century style house that we lovingly have called the Hobbit House because of it's low ceilings.

The Forest is your secluded, magical escape on 80 acres of private forest. Close (not too close) to Gimli, Manitoba down a long, private road. Waiting for you to restore and disconnect, enjoy the decks, walk the trails, or take in the healing medicine of the forest. Nestled in the spruce and aspen boreal forest, a woodstove, hammocks, fire pits, hiking trails, swimming pond, snowshoeing. And the vinyl collection. And As John Prine said we threw away the TV.
