Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.

An almost entirely open plan house with a vast master bedroom upstairs and a bunk room downstairs, the house sleeps up to six, with a modern kitchen, wood fire, outside deck and large garden, set close by the Wombat State Forest. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. The perfect romantic escape. A bespoke tiny house nestled under the gum trees overlooking a country cottage style garden. With kitchenette + own bathroom + loft style bed, it has everything you need for a special night away. Including a fire pit + outdoor dining space, along with wood heater inside it's perfect for all seasons. Breakfast of hand gathered eggs, bread, milk supplied for Fri - Sun stays. Loft bed is up a ladder. We do have peacocks, dogs, mini goats, + poultry on the property.

Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes drive from historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.
