There are good fishing opportunities from land and by boat. Boats can be rented from May to September, and two kayaks in the summer. Animals are not allowed. Cozy cabin by the fjord. Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with the possibility of several activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater locks are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach at Notaflåt is centrally located and provides bathing opportunities on a nice summer day. Straumen school is also nearby. Here the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand, you will find the well-known Himakånå. "Straumen er Draumen"

The apartment is 112 m2 with 3 bedrooms and is fully furnished. Living room and kitchen in one. The apartment is facing south, and has good sun conditions from early morning to late evening! You have a great view of both the lake and Himakånå. You will find many good hiking opportunities both to the mountains and forests, Himakånå is one of the most attractive hiking destinations. The climbing park "Høyt og Lavt", shop, joint transport, fishing and swimming opportunities are also nearby.
