There are nice hiking areas in the community; local peaks like Horse and Himakånå are popular. It is possible to take a day trip to Preikestolen and Stavanger day trip. The climbing park "Høyt og Lavt" is located 15 min drive from the cabin. During the summer months (May to Sept) it is possible to rent a boat and kayaks. Animals are not allowed in the cabin. Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with possibilities for more activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater blades are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach on Notaflå is centrally located and provides swimming opportunities on a nice summer day. Also in the vicinity is the Straumen school. Here, the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand you will not find unknown Himakånå. "Straumen is the Draumen"

Here you can just enjoy life. The cabin is rented to guests with previously at least 2 Airbnb stays behind them, with a rating of 5.0. Fixtures/equipment might differ from pictures.

Nedstrand. The cabin is located close to the path to Himakånå, and has good hiking opportunities. The property is fenced, making the place safe for children. The living room window has a great sea view. Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 sleeps 3: 1 bunk bed and 1 cot with length 150 cm. Please be mindful of grazing animals outside the property. Free parking space is approx. 150 m from the cabin, to get up you have to walk a steep climb. Trolley suitcase is not recommended as there is a gravel road.

You have a great view both to the sea and to Himakånå. You will find many good hiking opportunities both to the mountains and the forest, Himakånå is one of the most attractive hiking goals. Klatreparken "Høyt og Lavt", shop, communal transport, fishing and swimming opportunities are also nearby

The cabin has outdoor shower, kitchen, toilet and double bed

Relax with family/friends in idyllic surroundings With a view to one small pond, sheep in the fields and lovely birdsong, this is one place to find peace and quiet. Here there is plenty of space for play,bonfire and barbecue. There are good sun spots all around the cabin. 15-30 min by car for all atractions at Haugalandet. For grocery shopping, the convenience store in Slåttevik is recommended, which is only 4 min away by car.

Pleasant boathouse with the possibility of renting a boat

Pleasant boathouse with direct access to private jetty. Central in Førresfjorden, short distance to the city center, shops, hiking areas and fishing opportunities. Enjoy peace and quiet by the fjord, prepare dinner on the jetty and enjoy long evenings in the sunset. Bus stop 3 min from the boathouse. The apartment has a tiled entrance with plenty of space for storage, an open living room and kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with washing machine and dryer. There is underfloor heating in all floors and TV/internet is included. 2(3) car parking spaces just outside the entrance.

This newly built one room apartment is part of an older farm house. It is located in the end of a valley, and the house is surrounded by sheep and chickens. The location is excellent for peace and quiet. It is also several paths and tracks for walking in the hills around the farm.
