Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Modern house in the country with a reputation for sparkling cleanliness and 2 day minimums between guest stays. Close to Culver Academies (18 min/10 mi), Lake Maxinkuckee (13 min/7.4 mi), Lake Manitou (27 min/16 mi), and the historic Tippecanoe River (5 min/3.5 mi to Germany Bridge or 5 min/1.6 mi to Aubbeenaubbee Landing in Leiters Ford). We keep our prices low for 2 people, so please note that while we have space for up to 6 guests, each additional guest will incur small additional charges.

Dining room, large living room, and outdoor patio offer many places to gather. Full kitchen, and small office for dedicated work space. Off street parking.

Serenity is Steps From The Water. Only 20 feet from the beach, boardwalk and Lake, our ground floor one bedroom, one bath condo is spacious and functional. The living room couch is a memory foam sleeper sofa. Amenities Include free WiFi, 2 TV’s with cable, and a gas fireplace. The condo also offers a heated indoor swimming pool, fitness center and hot tub. Condo entrance is close to the building entrance and parking for easy move-in/move-out. Shops and restaurants are only 1 block away.

Main Street Retreat

A great place to retreat with all the key amenities to complete your stay after enjoying everything this quaint town has to offer. Walking distance to all shops, restaurants, and Lake Maxinkuckee and just a mile from Culver Academies. We allow dogs for an additional fee; see house rules for additional requirements when bringing your furry friend. Home is available for long-term stay during the 2024 - 2025 Culver Academy school years. Please inquire with host for details.

Washer/dryer. 1 bedroom, 1 FULL bath downstairs, no stairs for either for older or special needs. 3 bedrooms, 2 FULL bathrooms upstairs. 1-night weekday rental ONLY allowed in winter. The Oak Tree Lodge is located in a country setting and offers a private lodge with an outdoor area for relaxing and entertaining. The former barn structure has been beautifully transformed in a rustic and comfortable lodge to rest, relax, and renew. We have renewed it into a fresh new life - as a lodge to invite friends and guests to enjoy and relax. The listed rate is for four people, and additional quests will be $25.00 per person.

Clean, Comfortable, Updated Home just steps off of Main Street and a short walk to Cafe Max. A great home for Academy parents to stay while visiting their children. Also, a great residence to stay in if your child's team is playing a Culver team. Dogs are welcome, please no cats. $50 additional pet cleaning fee. Need the house for consecutive weekends? Let me know. Happy to be flexible with cleaning fees and unused mid-week days.
