We have decided to rent out our beautiful cottage yard at Ustaoset. The courtyard consists of a main cabin, two annexes and a shed for equipment/tools. It is surrounded by a beautiful birch forest and offers charm and harmony. Amazing views of Hallingskarvet. There are good opportunities for hiking, both winter and summer - right out the door. Skarvskue is still used by the family, personal touch will therefore be visible. We are looking for guests who take care of the cabin and appreciate the beautiful surroundings. Unique elf spa;)

Mountain view -1110 masl. Beautiful mountain cabin/Haugastøl

Fjellsyn is located 1110 m above sea level and is a beautiful log cabin/granary on Haugastøl, with a stunning panorama view overlooking Ustevann and Hardangervidda National Park. Hallingskarvet is seen to the North. Here the sun is from early morning to late evening. The cabin has Rallarvegen and magical Hardangervidda as the closest neighbor. There is a short distance to Geilo and Ustaoset in the east, and Hardanger in the west. The cabin has nature right outside the door, and you can use the countless trails and tracks in the area

Chalet at the top of Vestlia with stunning views

Beautiful cabin/chalet located at the top of Vestlia in Geilo. The cabin was new in 2023 and has a high standard. Spectacular views that give you a front row seat over Geilo and Hallingskarvet. The cabin has a terrace with evening sun in the summer where you can enjoy the sunset and the view until the sun goes down. Ski in ski out with immediate proximity to the alpine resort, and prepared ski trails around Ustedalsfjorden. 5-10 minutes walk to Vestlia Resort with restaurant, spa and swimming pool. Walking distance to Geilo.

Lakeside cabin magic in Ål – hot tub & sauna

Cabin magic right by the water in beautiful Ål in Hallingdal! A charming cabin with hot tub, rowboat, cozy fire and barbecue area, and sauna. Here you live peacefully by Strandafjorden, with a short distance to Ål city center, hiking trails and ski trails. No electricity or running water – but everything you need for a real and atmospheric cottage experience. Perfect for couples, friends and families who want to relax and enjoy nature. In winter, a ski slope is made in and past the cabin – parking is then 1 km from the cabin.

Large and cozy family cabin at Ustaoset

The cabin is located 5 km west of Ustaoset, about 100 meters from highway 7. Road all the way up which was plowed in the winter. There is amazing hiking terrain in summer and winter. The cabin is from 1950. It has been modernized and expanded in 2015. There are nice outdoor areas where you can enjoy the amazing view of Ustevann and Hardangervidda. A well-behaved dog is welcome. Guests must bring bed linen and towels. Guests must clean before departure, but may choose to use our regular help for washing (see below).

A gem with soul! 150-year-old log in parts of the cabin. 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with toilet and shower, living room with fireplace and dining room for 8 people, as well as outdoor hot tub. New and modern kitchen, as well as laundry room with washing machine and extra fridge/freezer. Path down to Storevann with swimming opportunities and access to rowboat. Great hiking opportunities nearby, and not least Hemsedal Topp 20. 20 min. to Hemsedal center and 25 min. to golf course and Hemsedal Ski Resort.

Kosebu: The cozy cabin at Ustaoset

A charming cabin with electricity and hot water installed. Simple standard with a well-equipped kitchen, and three bedrooms with six beds. Scenic surroundings, between Hardangervidda and Hallingskarvet for skiing in winter and trekking during the summer. The cabin is about 1.5km from Ustaoset centre which has a grocery store, café, and train station. The road from the train station to the cabin is ploughed all through winter. There is parking, but also opportunities for a car-free holiday.

Vår lille, koselige familiehytte ligger midt i smørøyet ved foten av Hardangervidda. 5 min å gå til nærbutikk der er det også hurtiglading for elbil. Hytten har innlagt strøm og vann. Hytten ligger på solsiden av dalen og du kan nyte en kopp kaffe på terrassen med nydelig utsikt. Husk å ta med tursko for her finner du endeløse muligheter for fantastiske fjellturer. Om vinteren kan du ta på ski og skli rett ned i skiløypene i Sysendalen. Hytten passer best for opptil 5 personer.

Cabin at Ustaoset

Nice cabin at Ustaoset, 1.5 km from Ustaoset station and shop. The cabin is new and was built in 2017. It has three bedrooms and a loft. Perfect for 4-6 adults + children. Right by cross-country ski trails in winter, and great hiking opportunities in summer and autumn. Road all the way to the cabin and parking for several cars outside the cabin. 10 min drive to Geilo which has a wide range of activities in summer and winter.

The cabin is 1,000 meters above sea level 1km away from popular Ustaoset. The cabin is perfect for hiking and skiing. It is a short way to Geilo (10min by car) with beautiful alpine opportunities and countless summer activities. The cabin has parking space just outside with space for 3 cars. there is also the possibility to charge electric car.

Welcome to Gamlestua. Older timber cabin built in 1916 completely renovated 2021/22 with new bathroom and kitchen. Gamlestua is located in the yard of the farm Hovde in Skurdalen, with a short distance to Geilo, approx. 9km from the centre, 10 minutes' drive.
