Beautiful cabin at Ustaoset. Summer in the mountains!

Relax in this beautiful cabin after an active day hiking in the mountains. A spacious, tasteful and atmospheric cabin with many sofa corners and light walls and floors. The cabin was significantly upgraded in 2023 with new bathrooms, windows, and extensions. The cabin can be heated and consists of a cozy cabin yard with garage and pantry. In addition to 6 beds inside the cabin, there is sleeping space for two on the loft and in the northern living room (TV room). The cabin has a rich selection of games and books. Suitable for families with small children and adults on a trip!

Fancy a trip to the mountains? Cozy cabin for the extended family in a fantastic hiking terrain. Fantastic Hallingskarvet, Prestholtseter and Tuva in the immediate vicinity. Amazing skiing opportunities. Well-equipped cabin that provides comfort and coziness for the whole family. 3 bedrooms, but in one of the bedrooms there is a family bunk bed where smaller people/children can sleep two together. Short distance to Geilo with shopping and other facilities (10 min drive). 1.5 km east of the train station and store. Parking on private property during summer time.

Experience authentic farming culture in an original charming halling cottage. Here you can grind coffee beans in an old mill and cook on a wood stove if you want. Refrigerator, freezer, and new bathroom are the latest. Hallingstugu is located on a farm in active operation with cows, sheep and garden hens. In the outdoor area there is plenty of space to ski and sled. Popular attractions nearby include Nesfjellet alpine, golf, Nystølkroken café, Langedrag nature park and endless cross-country ski trails. Everything within a few kilometres by car.

Fjellsyn is located 1110 m above sea level and is a beautiful log cabin/granary on Haugastøl, with a stunning panorama view overlooking Ustevann and Hardangervidda National Park. Hallingskarvet is seen to the North. Here the sun is from early morning to late evening. The cabin has Rallarvegen and magical Hardangervidda as the closest neighbor. There is a short distance to Geilo and Ustaoset in the east, and Hardanger in the west. The cabin has nature right outside the door, and you can use the countless trails and tracks in the area

Beautiful cabin/chalet located at the top of Vestlia in Geilo. The cabin was new in 2023 and has a high standard. Spectacular views that give you a front row seat over Geilo and Hallingskarvet. The cabin has a terrace with evening sun in the summer where you can enjoy the sunset and the view until the sun goes down. Ski in ski out with immediate proximity to the alpine resort, and prepared ski trails around Ustedalsfjorden. 5-10 minutes walk to Vestlia Resort with restaurant, spa and swimming pool. Walking distance to Geilo.

Cabin magic right by the water in beautiful Ål in Hallingdal! A charming cabin with hot tub, rowboat, cozy fire and barbecue area, and sauna. Here you live peacefully by Strandafjorden, with a short distance to Ål city center, hiking trails and ski trails. No electricity or running water – but everything you need for a real and atmospheric cottage experience. Perfect for couples, friends and families who want to relax and enjoy nature. In winter, a ski slope is made in and past the cabin – parking is then 1 km from the cabin.

Large and cozy family cabin at Ustaoset

The cabin is located 5 km west of Ustaoset, about 100 meters from highway 7. Road all the way up which was plowed in the winter. There is amazing hiking terrain in summer and winter. The cabin is from 1950. It has been modernized and expanded in 2015. There are nice outdoor areas where you can enjoy the amazing view of Ustevann and Hardangervidda. A well-behaved dog is welcome. Guests must bring bed linen and towels. Guests must clean before departure, but may choose to use our regular help for washing (see below).

Kosebu: The cozy cabin at Ustaoset

A charming cabin with electricity and hot water installed. Simple standard with a well-equipped kitchen, and three bedrooms with six beds. Scenic surroundings, between Hardangervidda and Hallingskarvet for skiing in winter and trekking during the summer. The cabin is about 1.5km from Ustaoset centre which has a grocery store, café, and train station. The road from the train station to the cabin is ploughed all through winter. There is parking, but also opportunities for a car-free holiday.

The cabin is located halfway between Oslo and Bergen at Haugastøl. The cabin is a great place to stay if you are looking for a genuine Norwegian mountain experience. Great skiing in the winter, and in the summer you will be able to go hiking in beautiful nature. Or maybe your up for a biking tour across Hardangervidda down to the Aurlandsfjord by Rallarvegen? You will find a bike rental at the start of the bike trail. The cabin has accommodation for maximum 8 persons.

An ideal base for exploring mountains and southern Norway.

Cabin at Ustaoset

Nice cabin at Ustaoset, 1.5 km from Ustaoset station and shop. The cabin is new and was built in 2017. It has three bedrooms and a loft. Perfect for 4-6 adults + children. Right by cross-country ski trails in winter, and great hiking opportunities in summer and autumn. Road all the way to the cabin and parking for several cars outside the cabin. 10 min drive to Geilo which has a wide range of activities in summer and winter.

Renneli, Ustaoset/Geilo

Cosy cabin in fantastic environment summer as winter. The cabin "Renneli" is located 10-12 min. drive from Geilo which have everything you need from grocery stores, sport shops, pharmacy, restaurants, hotels with bowling, swimming, training facilities etc. Car park is right outside the cabin, and road is open the year around. If arriving by train, pick up at the train station can be arranged, at Ustaoset or Geilo.
