Amazing place! So beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was as described. Check in/out was seamless, and Lindsey communicated everything we needed to know well beforehand. We felt very supported during our stay. The cottage is well-equipped, though be advised to pick up firewood if you want to use the fireplace. The bedding and furnishings were all clean and well maintained. The WiFi is quite slow, so if staying connected or using online streaming/entertainment is important to you, that is something to be aware of. The driveway up to the cottage is steep and bumpy in places, so pick your travel vehicle wisely - especially if you are in a rental! All in all, it's an absolutely incredible place to stay and the view is beyond what you even described! Absolutely breathtaking - you truly feel like you are up in the heavens 😊 We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend a stay at Highbourne Cottages.

Such a lovely place either as a sleepover heading to durban or Jhb, or as I did, a l it the getaway for a few days to do a seasonal detox and rest as much as possible, with some spectacular views.‘Janet was super friendly and helpful and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay there!

We had an amazing stay at the Tavreden Cheese Farm. The hosts are the two most lovely people we have ever had hosting us! We had such good chats and spent whole evenings just talking to them after enjoying their delicious self-made cheeseboard. Can only recommend to try this on one of the evenings you stay there. Very quiet and peaceful nature area, lots of hikes to do and close to Drakensberg Mountains. Would definitely stay here again, we loved our stay!

Kerry’s place was beautiful. We enjoyed a relaxing few days with the most beautiful view. Would strongly recommend it!
