Our beautiful vacation home is located in the old village near Amerongen Castle. Ideal for hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists and mountain bikers! It is a detached cottage, in the style of the tobacco barns from the area, with a private entrance, lovely bed, kitchen, luxurious NEW bathroom with rain shower and cozy veranda (with wood stove!) and views of the greenery of our backyard. De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.

A sunny terrace is located at the rear. The immediate area is popular with hikers and cyclists; from the cottage you can go anywhere! It is situated in a pretty garden within the village of Achterveld (between Amersfoort and Barneveld). A doublebed is downstairs, a single bed in the loft.
