A wonderful place to stay in nature. Brian's yard and garden is adorable and really big, the location to the lake is great. You can see the water from the balcony, on foot you are in 5 minutes on the shore. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped. Especially great is the spa area with private sauna, shower and whirlpool tub. Brian are absolutely helpful and gave us good tips for activities. Check-in and communication was straightforward and quick. We recommend the house very much. Greetings from Berlin, Kosima and Daphne

Lovely mini vacation stay in the middle of the rusk. It was just like the listing, well-maintained, and the smallest details thought out and functional. Plus a beautiful, simple decor. The cottage had everything you needed. It was lovely to sit in a warm lot under the starry sky. The sauna😁 was also delighted by cottage neighbors' dog mates & great mushroom forest ❤️

Comfortable and well-equipped place.

We had such a wonderful time at the summer house! It is an absolute gem with its' nature, archipelago, sauna, and the picturesque house itself! We certainly felt like in a scandinavian summer tale! The hosts were super lovely and helpful, easy to communicate with and made us feel at home the minute we arrived. The cat and the dog won't ever be forgotten by our daughter and we honestly had the best night sleeps ever. We absolutely recommend this lovely, idyllic place and hope to come back one day! Thank you for making our holiday so lovely dear Liz & Tom! :)

We enjoyed Pyhä in the atmospheric log cabin of Kivikoski very well for less than a week. The location near the highway was good. The cottage, barn, and yard matched the description. Two different saunas and a lot crowned the whole. It's good for guests to note that neighbors are nearby. Thanks Minna, we'll be back!

100+ year sauna! Amazing to experience the history and culture of Finland here by the sea. It is meant to be a little rustic for how it used to be. The art museum of Sirkka Turkki next door is also an incredible experience to meet the artist and to see her creations. Ari and Arja are amazing people. On a very busy day, they still took time to find a special birch sauna vihta for me. They also made all of the toys available: bicycle, row boat, SUP paddle board. This is a lucky find if it is available grab it!

Antti's cottage was very clean.The surrounding environment was also beautiful. Antii was always in touch right away. My friends were also very kind and accommodating.

a lovely place to relax among the sheep, the sauna provided absolutely insane steam, and the hostess responded super quickly to all messages. A warm spiritual vibe all around.

One night on a ski vacation with kids. Lots of space and peace. Cozy. The host was friendly and reachable. It was cold at first, but it was known in advance. However, the necessary rooms warmed up for the evening. The atmosphere in the house is a full 10 nostalgia for the hungry. I'd go again. ♥

Great listing and host. Always responded to inquiries and had done everything in the apartment. In fact, we found everything we needed in the house and bought many things in vain. 😄 Friendly and fast communication. It’s our second stay at the house. Before we were here in the fall, this one was during the winter. House is very cozy and feels like at home. It was so nice to fire up the fireplace after long walk through snowy forest and play some table top games. Family loved the stay and we might visit the house again later. Definitely recommend. Great value for money.

Perfect peaceful small cottage close to nature. Equipped with everything you need. Great host who made sure all was great.

We stayed over the weekend at this charming grandma's cottage. We searched for quietness and the opportunity to burn fire in the oven. The cottage is located right on the edge of the road, where cars are rarely driven. The mind rested in this silence. The cottage was cool during the first day of the day and the floors of old houses were cold. We were prepared for this villain, which were also found on the porch of the house to a great extent. We were able to heat the sleeping chamber, as well as the baking oven in the cottage, and the heat spread wider. The outdoor sauna provided good steam in atmospheric lighting. The cottage as a whole is clean and very atmospheric.

Went to stay at the cabin over the weekend. Had an excellent time. Despite being rustic, Veikkola is less than 10 minutes away on car so it was easy to fetch anything we need from civilization. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience the authentic Finnish summer cabin life.
