This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

Relax with the whole family or as a couple at this peaceful place to stay. You can enjoy all kinds of routes in the Arribes del Duero, from those accessible for the youngest members of the family, or the most complicated for the more intrepid. If you want to see local fauna such as griffon vultures, foxes, salamanders, newts, see sheep, cows and goats grazing freely or just come to change the pace, this is your ideal place.

Cabañas del Cortino 1

Cortino cabins are 4 wooden cabins with capacity for two adults. They are in a wide space with trees outside Monleras, a small village in the Almond Swamp area, at one of the entrances to the Arribes del Duero Natural Park. With heating, air conditioning and Wifi. Pets allowed. It is a quiet space, ideal for rest, walking, biking or sport fishing (pike, tents, barbs and fireflies). You will be welcome!

Casa de banho completa. Alguns utensílios de cozinha, como talheres e louça. Tábua, ferro de engomar, e televisão. Irei receber os hóspedes pessoalmente, falo inglês e alemão.

A decoração foi uma inspiração da cidade de Bragança com um estilo rústico e moderno. Ao redor da casa os hóspedes têm facilidade de estacionamento gratuito.

This small country house is located on my family's farm, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The house is totally independent, the kitchen is fully equipped and in all other areas we excel in comfort. Come and discover this corner of the Douro Valley.
