We have been gradually renovating and revitalising the property (currently in progress), including features such as the whitewashed earthen walls and the natural Kenji bamboo fencing.Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are front yards, courtyards, back gardens, and three moss gardens, and well water flows everywhere, and there are hand-water bowls, rapids, deer, creeks running between flying stones, and pot ponds, including koi, medaka, tanago, and river shrimp, and a biotoping space where wild birds live. ■ Chick-in lounge (cafe/bar space), souvenir corner ■ You can drink authentic cocktails on the first floor of the main building.There are souvenir corners such as overseas imported interior miscellaneous goods/accessories/natural stones/charms such as Bali.

The zelkova longhouse has been around for about 200 years and is also listed in the Oshu City Museum. The main house had seasonal flowers painted on the waist panel of the barrier, and the sliding doors had people, high-level calligraphy, and handwritten notes showing interaction with the nearby village headman. Kondaya's garden has a 300-year-old oak tree, camellias, silver trees, and pines, and a spring flows from the corner of the garden all year round. Trees that change their appearance with the seasons, mossy garden stones, and soothing water. Yatsuka, the third generation head of the Konda family, who was also active as a singer, would have sung while looking at this beautiful scenery. I created this accommodation because I wish there was a place like this. ☆This is not a hotel. We want you to think about how you want to spend your time. On sunny days, enjoy morning coffee on the large wooden deck. In the cold winter, warm up with a wood stove, and make and eat a delicious meal yourself. Play your favorite music, and read surrounded by books lining the walls. Take a walk to Gero Station while catching a glimpse of life in Gero. Fishing at sea, picking azaleas, bamboo shoots, and wild potatoes in the mountains, and eating them yourself. Long stays are recommended. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.

The water area features a newly built island kitchen and a large wash basin. The bath is a Goemon bath that uses both wood and gas, so you can cook with wood or use hot water. Outside the house, there is a friendly sign cat named Aosuke, who will come up to you if you are outside. It is located about 15 minutes by car from the Ishikari Mountain ropeway, making it easy to get to the mountains.

The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.
