Fishing licenses must be purchased when fishing in rivers or water. A kayak and two paddle boards are available for use free of charge. Boat hire is available in the area. Bed linen is included. You can fish or swim in the fjord, take a walk on one of our many nice trails - or enjoy the amazing views. The nearest grocery store is only about 2 km away. Do you like to ski? Then you will find Eikedalen ski center after approx. 30 min by car, or Voss with its many possibilities with approx. 45 min by car. If you like city life, Bergen is only a train ride away.

The surrounding mountains offer beautiful hiking trails, including the popular route to Vetlevarden at Storfjella, starting just outside the front door. At the end of the lake you’ll find the impressive Hesjedalfossen waterfall, only a 20-minute drive away. A free canoe is available for guests.
