The cabin has electricity, while you fetch water for drinking, washing up and care from the river. When you arrive at the cabin, there will be 3 × 10 litres of water. If you want to find other activities, it is 30 minutes by car to Voss.

In winter, the lake is often suitable for ice skating. The surrounding mountains offer beautiful hiking trails, including the popular route to Vetlevarden at Storfjella, starting just outside the front door. At the end of the lake you’ll find the impressive Hesjedalfossen waterfall, only a 20-minute drive away. A free canoe is available for guests.
