The days can be filled with swimming and fishing in fjords, waterfalls or mountain lakes, trips in varied terrain, or proximity to nature's stillness and tranquility. In winter, the lake is often suitable for ice skating. The surrounding mountains offer beautiful hiking trails, including the popular route to Vetlevarden at Storfjella, starting just outside the front door. At the end of the lake you’ll find the impressive Hesjedalfossen waterfall, only a 20-minute drive away. A free canoe is available for guests.

Read all before you book. Romantic rustic cabin in a beautiful meadow up in the mountains. The young girls lived up here with the cows in the summer pasture and carried the milk down to the farms every day. You reach the cabin within a medium easy 1 h hike from the road, where half of the hike is on a gravelly road and the rest in forest. Use shoes for off road hiking in nature. There are fantastic hiking opportunities with stunning views, and several lakes for fishing in the immediate area.

Northern Lights

Enjoy this romantic spot in nature. Our caravan, located directly on the fjord, offers passers-by the opportunity to sleep in a warm bed without having to miss the tranquility and nature. The gas-powered outdoor kitchen offers comfort and rusticity. A bathroom with shower and toilet has been specially designed for our trailer guests. It is about 100 meters from the trailer and leaves nothing to be desired.

Charming and comfortable place to overnight or stay. 1 bedroom for 3 person and coach for 2 person in living room. There are beautiful nature around here, fjord and mountain view, beach with little boat, sauna and grill on the terrace. 35 minutes to Bergen and lot of hiking possibilities near by. We love pets and we have 2 little dogs.

Charming cabin in Bruvikdalen

Our cabin is for rent. It is peacefully located by the eastern lake in Bruvikdalen. About 1 hour from Bergen city. Possibility to borrow two kayaks and a small rowing dinghy. Rispingen, Olsnessåto, Høgafjellet and Bruviknipa with new sherpa stairs are some of the great mountains that are within a short distance from the cabin.
