Family-friendly holiday rentals in Val de Bagnes

this is a hit for a reason. the chalet is exactly how a chalet should be: a big shared living space with a wonderful panomaric view of the surroundings combined with cosy cocoony bedrooms with fantastic bedding and a great bathroom. top this up with an outdoor jacuzzi which works like a charm thank you Fabrice for trusting us with your home!

It was the perfect place for my family who was tired of traveling. The kids enjoyed playing whirlpool every day. It was equipped like my own home. The owners were very friendly. I would stay here again if I could go to Switzerland again.

Philippe was very welcoming, very friendly and responsive, good advice and considerate, and we had a great week with our 15-month-old son (the accommodation lends itself to it!) in this pretty little mazot! The surrounding area is beautiful, beautiful hikes and lots of resorts nearby! To be done again with pleasure:)

Everything was perfect. The place was extremely remarkably clean, the rooms in very good condition, the living room beautiful and the kitchen very well equipped. We really had a great time!

We had an amazing stay at the Chalet a la Casa! First off, we had a group of 8 of us staying there and the condo was more than spacious enough for all of us. We loved the wood burning fireplace and outdoor patio (with heat lamps so you can cozy up and enjoy the views). The views! You couldn’t ask for a better view - perfect sight line to the Matterhorn from the kitchen and patio. Since it had just snowed, the kids couldn’t get enough of sledding down the hill right outside the patio. Great location, convenient to many restaurants and buses, and the hot tub wasn’t a nice bonus! We would stay again in a heartbeat.

4 days of relaxation surrounded by nature. The stay was magnificent. The home is equipped with every comfort, from the kitchen and barbecue supply to an indoor sauna and an outdoor hot tub. Gib was the perfect host. He provided us with all the detailed directions for our arrival at the chalet and always available to answer our questions. Everything was absolutely impeccable. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay in this beautiful chalet. The accommodation is in a peaceful setting, everything is tastefully decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped. The cottage is spacious, and very clean. Etienne is a responsive host, available and has good advice.

Beautiful building right in a great area of Zermatt. Modern layout but classic feel. Roof deck is amazing.

Jess' place was perfect for our week's skiing. She was in touch with us before our holiday with much help on ski passes and bakery deliveries. Easy check in. Perfect welcome pack after travelling. Jess was very responsive when we asked for local info. Apartment was lovely and quiet and had all we needed, very clean, comfortable beds, nice linen, easy to use kitchen, plenty of hot water, good TV. We managed to use a ski shop with storage (would recommend Berger Ski next to Pleney lift) so walked to and fro with ease. There are buses, but we didn't ever use. Would definitely return. We had a pleasant stay. The rental has stunning views of the mountains and is close to fabulous hikes including the one to Lake Taney (beautiful altitude lake). The rental is very well organized and very nice. It's a peaceful harbor. Great place to recharge. Access to Lake Geneva is easy. We are close to Montreux, Vevey and Lazaux. The host is great, very nice and friendly. I recommend this rental:-)

Great stay in a beautiful location . The photos don’t do it justice. It’s a huge chalet very close to the ski lift and the town centre . We never used the hire car . Would definitely stay again

Great place in a great location. Really friendly hosts. Ideal for long weekend of skiing or summer activities in Alps. Immaculately clean. Central location is fantastic for getting around, but can be a bit noisy at night if you worry about that sort of thing!

Carrie's chalet is as good as it looks in the photos, with an amazing view across the valley over Morzine. We were a group of one couple and 5 singles (4 male), but there were enough beds on 2 floors to accommodate us all comfortably: downstairs, the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and private balcony, plus a room with 2 single beds; upstairs, a double bedroom and another with a double and sofa-bed. There is also a futon upstairs on the large landing overlooking the ground floor that we did not use. Note that the two bathrooms (ensuite+1) and separate toilet are all on the same floor downstairs. The kitchen is large and fully-equipped, as described. There is a comfortable lounge area with open wood fire and large TV with Chromecast. There is a large West-facing balcony, ideal for apres-ski drinks overlooking Morzine, and an outdoor built-in BBQ. Suffice to say, this is the most comfortable, homely, spacious/light and well-equipped (and great-value) chalet accommodation I have enjoyed in many years of ski holidays in France and Switzerland. It would be a brilliant place for families with kids. As others have said, having a car is advised as it is a 20-min walk to the centre of Morzine and a steep uphill back. There is a bus but not very frequent. It is certainly possible to do without a car but simpler with one. There is ample private parking for 2-3 cars. Skiing in the area is superb of course. Carrie our host was extremely helpful and answered all our queries within minutes, both before travelling and while we were there. Regrettably, we caused some minor accidental damage in the chalet but Carrie was understanding and generous and refused to make an incident of it. Thank you so much for a great stay Carrie!

Great starting point for exploring Aosta and the surrounding area.

We had a lovely stay. A change of scenery and nice hike at the exit of the chalet. We had a lovely and relaxing stay with sun and snow.

What a beautiful stay at Chalet Petit Brio. From the helpful check in to fantastic chalet and facilities, everything was spot on. I would recommend having a car to make it easy to get around although we didn’t try the local buses. We will definitely be back!

Great stay in Les Praz. Super short walk to the Flegere lift. The apartment was as described. Fabien was super responsive and proactive and the perfect host. We enjoyed our stay there and would love to come back.

An unforgettable stay! Beautiful and relaxing environment. This cottage is the most beautiful of all we've seen in the area. Impeccable cleanliness, full equipment, very nice decor, very functional, very spacious. Rooms are large with bathroom and balcony. The garden and terrace have won over all the guests, not overlooked, large barbacue, garden furniture, large jacuzzi, large glass windows, everything is well thought out, beautiful and well arranged. The hospitality was perfect and caring. The indoor pool, like the rest, was the cherry on the cake! Looking forward to coming back for another occasion, thank you so much!

Very nice apartment with a lovely big living room and large windows. Well equipped, clean and tidy. A short walk to the Argentiere lifts, all important boulangerie and restaurants in the village. Justin was very helpful but not over the top. Recommended.

Very centrally located and surprisingly spacious apartment. Groceries, shops, bars and restaurants just outside the block. Clever layout and surprisingly spacious. Facilities great. Car parking good access. Ian gave good tips re ski rental, ski areas and restaurants. Would rent again.

Wonderful, well equipped chalet and perfectly located to explore the magnificent French Alps. The garden, dip pool and sauna were also great assets. Supermarkets can be walked to in Les Houches, and Chamonix is only a 10 minute drive away. We loved our week here and wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend.
