Relax and unwind in our Farmhouse Retreat situated in the foothills of the McGillycuddy Reeks. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with fresh farm eggs and baked goodies. The garden is facing the mountains with a southern aspect so is also a perfect place to simply soak up the peaceful scenic surroundings. The house is a great base to explore the wonderful Gems that Co.Kerry has to offer. The house is a 10 min drive from Killorglin, 20 mins from Killarney and 1 hour drive from Dingle & Kenmare.

Close to the Blasket Island interpretive centre, and a short walk to island ferry. On Dingle Way walk, and near to surf and swimming beaches. Regular daily bus service to Dingle. Beautiful picturesque setting in the delightful village Glenbeigh and is wonderful place for a vacation. The house is a 5 min walk to the village. The village is situated at an intersection of the Kerry Way walking trail and the world famous Ring of Kerry motorists’ route. It is a charming location, cosily resting at the bottom of the Curragh and Seefin Mountains. It is probably best known for its golden blue flag unspoilt Rossbeigh Beach which lies 1.5 km from the village.

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.
