“This place is beautiful, the kind of cottage that really welcomes you in. It’s been designed and decorated in a way that makes it feel like a real seaside firesidey cottage but with contemporary touches that keep it really stylish. It was a cold weekend but the wood burner is super efficient so the place was a cosy bolt hole after our days out in the elements. The bathroom’s lovely, the beds very comfy and even though we didn’t need any help during our stay, we were welcomed by a neighbour who was on hand if we needed anything. It’s in a great location, moments from the most useful shops for stocking up and a short stroll to the beaches. Laura made some great recommendations for places to eat, drink, walk or shop so we weren’t short of things to do. A great host and a really gorgeous home.”
Sleeps 2. 17th century cottage. Luxuriously refurbished in 2013. A quintessential romantic cottage situated in a quiet cobbled street in the heart of St Ives with parking. The Cottage blends stylish contemporary style and period character. Free wifi
“It is a traditional stone cottage that has been beautifully restored and decorated and has a thoroughly modern kitchen and bathroom . It is right in the heart of St Ives on a quiet street just off the main shopping area, and a short walk to the beach. There is no parking in the immediate area, but this has been excellently solved by Ylenia with a reserved parking space about 5 minutes walk away. Ylenia is an welcoming host and gave us great advice on the town. We bought an Art Pass which gives unlimited access to the Tate and 5 other galleries/museums for 7 days. Especially good as the cottage is right opposite the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden where we spent the last hour of every afternoon .”
