The structures and furnishings were provided by the owner of the farm; we are looking for a functional unit for cooking, dining, overnight stays and recreational use. The views of the field valley, the sheep pastures, the pine forest or the rugged rock behind create a versatile setting for a lean-to experience in the countryside and in nature. Accommodation is available all year round, with suitable equipment even in December.

In the house you can spend a quiet and relaxing holiday surrounded by nature in a rural landscape, yet only a few kilometers from the services of the center of Salo. The house is equipped with modern amenities, while retaining the atmosphere of an old house. In the large garden you can enjoy a summer day on the terrace or in the shade of apple trees.

There are also 2 bathrooms + one sauna. There is air conditioning and Villa is newer hot and 2 fire places to keep it warm in winter times. There are 12 beds with linen supplied by the host. During cristmas times we welcome businesses to have their small Christmas party at Villa Muurla.

In the forests surrounding the cottage, you can hike, pick mushrooms and berries, and the scenic Lake Gölen is a kilometer away. The cottage is located near Billnäs Ruukki, and Fiskars Ruukkikylä with its restaurants and boutiques is also within cycling distance. The wood-fired traditional sauna, which is freely available to tenants, offers deep and humid saunas.

The cottage is located on a large 3.5-hectare lot in a secluded area surrounded by small ponds. You can enjoy the gentle heat of the wood sauna and then relax in the warm water of the hot tub. At sunset, you can see moose, deer, and other forest animals grazing in the nearby field from the terrace. You can also head to the nearby forests to pick mushrooms and berries and prepare dinner from them. Small pets are allowed!
