Welcome to our newly purchased boathouse on idyllic Vassøy – a small and quiet island just a short boat ride from Stavanger city center. Here you literally live by the sea, surrounded by beautiful nature and with access to the beach, hiking trails and local shop. We have recently taken over this boathouse and are looking forward to sharing it with our first guests. The place is perfect for couples, small families or friends who want a quiet break from everyday life – with sea air, simple comfort and proximity to nature.

Welcome to Fjellro! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. The farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop in 2023 and 2025 and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

Perfekt utgangspunkt for tur til Preikestolen, Kjerag og Lysefjorden. Store vindusflater og med utgang til stor terrasse fra tre glassdører. Pergola er overbygget med glasstak. Hagemøbler, gassgrill og bålpanne medfølger. Rett nedenfor feriehuset (120 meter) kan du sitte på svaberg og se solen gå ned i havet. Gode fiskemuligheter.

Preikestolen 10 minutes to parking. Read reviews from previous guests. The view is striking, the place is shielded from traffic and noise. Sun until 22:20 on the longest days. Sit down for several days and go on great hikes and mountain peaks from the exit door. Five minutes hike away you can go swimming in a river with fresh mountain water. Short distance to Jørpeland city centre (10 min walk, 5 min to drive) with all necessary shops available.

Apartment located on the lower floor in a newer house with a view of the ocean. Best suited for 2 people. Living room with kitchenette and direct exit to the patio. There is a large bedroom where you can lie in bed and look straight to the sea. The apartment is completely shielded with the sea, the open area and the sea bath as the closest neighbor. Tananger is located approx. 10 km from Sola Airport and Stavanger. Very good bus connection.

Stunning Panorama Jacuzzi Hiking Fishing Private

Norwegian nature at its finest. You need to see it to believe it. Enjoy Jacuzzi from morning to evening with sun all day and the most awesome views you can imagine. In the near vicinity there is swimming and fishing possibilities plus many hiking/ski routes with varying difficulty. Suitable base for excursions in the area, Preachers Rock (Preikestolen), Kjerag, Månafossen, Husky Safari, Sirdal, Flørlisteps, Kongeparken, Stavanger.

Boathouse by the lake in Sokn, Stavanger

The boathouse is brand new and part of the seaside house environment towards Soknasundet. There is a jetty with fishing opportunities. Buildings and furniture are made by the renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the jetty. The boathouse is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the farm has 5 km of hiking trails.

Nydelig hytte ved vannet med egen strand i hagen. Stor hage med flere sitte områder slik at du har sol fra tidlig morgen til sen kveld. Tilgjengelig er båt, SUP, Jacuzzi og fiskestenger. Lys og fin med god standard, innlagt vann og strøm. Hele hytten er renovert de siste 15 årene.
