Stay in your own apartment on the 1st floor of our large country house. Private bathroom and kitchen. Our farm is located on a 5 hectare plot with sheep in the meadow, chickens in the garden, fruit trees and kitchen garden, lots of nature outside the door and plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling in the forest and local area. 19 minutes to Odense C, 10 minutes to Odense Å and 30 minutes to almost all corners of Funen. A perfect base for a wonderful holiday on Funen - whether it is the forest, the city, the beach or something completely different that lures you. PS: Super Wifi!

Start the day with coffee on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful view of the fjord. Take a walk in the garden, where there are two small lakes and lots of nature to explore. Only 800 meters from the house you will find the sea, which offers beautiful walks along the water all year round. In less than 10 minutes drive is Juelsminde, a cozy coastal town, cafes and some of the area's ice cream. You can also go to Snaptun, from where ferries sail to the peaceful islands of Hjarnø and Endelave – perfect for a day trip in nature.

We have a lovely apartment in connection with our farm, close to Vejlby Fed beach. It is 60 m2 and has a kitchen-bath, bedroom, TV wifi, living room on the 1st floor. The apartment is suitable for a couple with 1-2 smaller children. Our wilderness food can be used for a fee of DKK 300 or 40 euros. Please note that if it is hard frost, the wilderness bath is not available. A light cleaning is desired upon departure. If guests don't want to clean themselves, they can choose to pay a cleaning fee of DKK 400.

The kitchen is fully equipped. 3 bedrooms with double beds, one can be made into 2 single beds. There are 2 lovely bathrooms with showers, one with a bathtub and indoor sauna overlooking the fields. Outdoor spa for 4 people, outdoor shower and gas grill. Multi-purpose room with table tennis and games. Car charger.

Absolutely attractive, inviting and child-friendly home, where there is room for both immersion and play. Large garden area. The home is located in a scenic area, with short distances to the most popular attractions, such as Legoland, Lego House and Givskud Zoo. Private terrace area and fire pit. There is ample opportunity to see wildlife and birdlife. There are two large bedrooms that can sleep 3 and 4 people, respectively. Baby alarm and blackout curtains in both rooms. Child-friendly and private.

I stueplan er der fra entreen adgang til øverste etage samt toilet inden man går ind i dagligstuen, som ligger i åben forbindelse med spisestue og køkken. Fra spisestuen kan man gå i udestuen, der indeholder spiseplads og loungeområde. Derefter adgang til stor privat have med legetårn og ældre trampolin. Boligen ligger i gå-afstand til bager, skov og supermarkeder samt til EV ladere til elbiler (75 m fra huset).

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Walking distance to supermarket (Rema 1000). Large playground available a few meters from the house (Skåde School). Beautiful viewpoint at Kattehøj hill, which is a 10-minute walk from the house.
