Chalet holiday rentals in Velsen

Sander was a very great host! He always replied very quickly and had met us at the entrance of the park and drove us straight to the property to forego any delays. The chalet was as described and was filled with tea and coffee facilities. The linen and all other amenities were perfect! A lovely stay for us all!

Equipped as your own home thank you for thoughtful details. If you have car heavily advised otherwise house is a bit far from center. House is so beautiful but maybe with better furnitures and better cleaning it can be perfect. Thank you for nice hosting.

The beautiful house was very individually decorated, very bright inside and equipped with private furniture. Everything was clean and upon arrival the very likeable house owner Jan directly welcomed us, explained the house and gave us tips for the area - for example where we can find a cheap bike rental. Joffry takes care of the house and was very accessible. We especially enjoyed the harmony of the house and garden. In the garden there were two chickens that laid fresh breakfast eggs. From the house you can look out on a magnificent dune landscape where you can hike or cycle. The nearest beach is only 15 minutes by bike - if you prefer a secluded beach section, you can go a few minutes further. We really liked the nearest town Alkmaar with its many historic houses, restaurants, cafes and picturesque canals. We would very much like to rent the beautiful house again from Jan and Joffry. We stayed at Chantal's house with our two-year-old daughter and had a great time. The house is very cozy and with everything you need. In the garden you can relax and play. The planes can be heard, but it didn't bother us. We rented bikes and did many nice tours in the area. The staff at the park were also very friendly and there were great play opportunities for our daughter there. Chantal also provides many ideas for excursions. We highly recommend Chantal's house! :)

Quiet homey and cozy cute place that has everything you need. Annette provided things that a traveller would need. The garden is nice to chill with the birds chirping.

We were there in the beginning of March It was still quite cold, but we almost had the park to ourselves for that. The place is super thoughtful and has everything you need. Stefanie, the organizer was always super accessible and helped immediately. It was totally flexible, thank you so much! The additional electricity costs were absolutely manageable despite the hot tub!

Katharina is one of the nicest hosts we have met. We loved our stay in her cute tiny house. The village is very quiet, super clean, and im sure in summer gorgeous when the flowers are in blum. The garden is perfect for our little dog, and we always enjoy having a full kitchen to use in holiday. We hope to visit again someday in the future!

A beautiful flower farm to stay on, loved making a friend with the resident peacock. Koos and Rosie we very friendly and welcoming.

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Had a great vacation! The house leaves nothing to be desired. The view of the sea is fantastic. Everything in the house is clean and tidy . In the immediate vicinity, you will find a lot of things to do and there are also shopping opportunities. We will be happy to come back !

My husband and I traveled with our four children, ages 8, 5, 3, and 11 months. This home was a paradise for them. The older kids loved the bunk beds and never had a shortage of toys and games to occupy their time. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the ducks and boats go by, and the cargo bike was so useful. The directions for check in were very clear, but I still don’t recommend doing it after dark. We had a little difficulty finding everything when we arrived. After that it was no problem. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We were with two families (4 adults and 3 smaller children) in Vreny's and Bart's house. We felt very comfortable and were grateful for many small things such as a crib or a stair gate, which are not self-evident. Kitchen was also superbly equipped. The rooms are rather small, which was very convenient for our room layout. You can hear the train and planes in the distance, but it was never so loud that it bothered us. Our children found watching the train on the way to the playground or supermarket rather exciting (and were probably often louder themselves...). Since we were there in the summer and usually had good weather, we were often on the beach. By car, finding a parking space can be difficult. If you have a bike, you should definitely take it with you and use it. Otherwise, we liked to use the garden and barbecued there. We would gladly come back. We were three people who had a beautiful Holiday at an relaxed Camping Spot. Everything was good and uncomplicated.

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

We felt very comfortable. The view of the sea is indescribably beautiful.

The house in the back of the garden is simply wonderful. Large living room,TV only in Dutch and English, if you absolutely need it, the bathroom with bath and shower, bedroom with very comfortable beds and two small rooms one of which is suitable with bed for adults. Other rooms with bunk bed rather intended for children, but we did not use them. Mosquito nets are available in each window, which is super important because a small stream flows right next to it. In addition, very large garden with plenty of space for any activities. Kitchen fully equipped, also with dishwasher and even tabs. It is also very nicely decorated and the owners pay a lot of attention to nature-friendly behavior, which is also important to us. The car and bicycles are right outside the door. And the best thing is the location - no neighbors far and wide, pure peace and nature! Simply perfect 🤩 Thanks again for everything 🤗

with kids in the caravan was super. The area is so beautiful....robins , bunnies, silence (occasionally a plane) you can go to the fine beach of castricum by the sea (10 minutes by bike) clean toilet sticks. You can rent bicycles for the children and go-karts. Playground and nice activities.

We found a very cozy and very well-equipped apartment. Everything you could could need was there. There are plenty of dishes and cooking utensils, so you can really conjure up a meal. A basic set of spices, oil, and coffee, and filter bags were also there. So all in all perfect! As a small but really small minus point, it is at most to be criticized that the lockable shed was too crowded and we therefore could not store our bikes in it. But that's really whining to a high standard. We felt very, very comfortable in the small cottage!
