Thank you Vera for being a great host, we had a wonderful stay with you on our first visit to the Netherlands! A perfect location for travel to Amsterdam, zaanse schan, the beach & the surrounding area. Our children loved the play park & football pitch up the street! Very peaceful village to come back to after days out and we was very lucky with the weather so could enjoy the garden area in the sunshine. Thank you for the delicious breakfasts!! Would highly recommend anyone to visit!!

Perfect place to stay for a relaxing family getaway! We had a wonderful time in the little back cottage of Ron and Conny! The two are incredibly hospitable, helpful and attentive – we felt immediately welcome upon arrival. Particularly nice was how sweet Ron and Conny were to our daughter, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The place is not only very clean and cozy, but also ideal for families with infants. The location is just great: just around the corner there is a small lake with ducks, geese and goats – perfect for a short walk or a short break. The beautiful pedestrian zone with its nice cafes and shops is a short walk away, and the dunes and the sea are also wonderfully quickly accessible. More than we wished for!!! Great communication, really helpful and Karina’s Boathouse is truly fantastic, the boathouse is finished with little personal touches and is in a wonderful location - only a few minutes from the city centre but quiet and tranquil. We feel lucky to have stayed over Kingsday and couldn’t have asked for more! Currently working out dates for another visit… If you are considering booking - stop thinking and do it, you will not regret it!

Great place for a family meeting

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Amsterdam! The location is absolutely perfect—everything we wanted to see was within 20 minutes, and the walks never felt long because there’s so much charm and beauty along the way. Plenty of restaurants right outside the front door. We recommend LAVASH for beautiful food. The ground floor apartment was ideal for us, especially traveling with a 1-year-old, a stroller, and quite a bit of luggage. Super easy access, which made coming and going stress-free. Inside, the space was bright and spacious with lots of natural light, comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We’d absolutely stay here again!

We stayed 3 nights at Tatjana's place. A pretty little place to stay that keeps everything it promises. Tatjana was very friendly, communication worked well. The location of the place was perfect. 2 minutes walk to the beach, see the lighthouse from the breakfast table. Shopping and restaurants 5 minutes walking. We'd love to come again.

We had a very nice time in this Airbnb, everything was clean, nice, very good communication with the hosts despite the language barrier and very responsive . Thank you, the decoration is of very good taste and the bedding is clean and very comfortable. The place is peaceful if you are looking for a little tranquility just a few miles from Amsterdam . After that, Amsterdam is very expensive as a city for the slightest activity. Good time all the same with beautiful touches from our hosts like a bottle of wine, a nice arrival card and eggs for Easter 🐣 ( small touches that given the price of the studio may seem normal but that not all do) . Responsiveness to requests was much appreciated, quality products for the shower🚿, and functional kitchen equipment in short everything was perfect one thing Bravo keep it up! Dax and Willemijn are great hosts. We arrived early and were very tired, but Willemijn kindly drove us to the restaurant, which truly touched us. Dax is very responsive, providing useful tips and checking in on us regularly. The cottage is adorable—super cozy and stylishly furnished. The location is perfect, set in a quiet area with the soothing sounds of birds chirping. There's a beautiful park just across the road, creating a perfect vacation atmosphere. It felt like we were staying in our own home. Additionally, it's easy to reach Amsterdam by bus and train. Highly recommended!

The stay with Bettina was all around great! Beautiful, very clean apartment with all the necessary amenities and in a very great location close to the beach. Communication with Bettina was also great. She was very friendly and helpful and responded immediately to questions. I'd love to come back and recommend it to anyone! 😊

Wonderful spot for a quiet getaway. The suite is decorated so beautifully I felt I’d entered another time. The garden is exquisite and gorgeous to wake up to. Jeanne was responsive and helpful with local reccs.

Petra was an excellent host. She allowed us to arrive a little early, welcomed us on arrival, showed us the apartment and gave an orientation. The apartment is modern and very attractively furnished. Everything was very comfortable and we made ourselves at home.

We stayed at Mjc's for 2 nights. He was super friendly. We were able to park on his property. Everything is within walking distance. In 10 - 15 minutes you are on the beach or at the train station, from where you can easily take the train to Haarlem or Amsterdam. We will be happy to come back.

There is a word in Danish that seems to be the most reflective of the feeling that I got in this space, and that word is Hygge. From the comfort of the space w/ good lighting, the amenities of comfort, or even just the general attitude of the family when I arrived. Etienne has catered a fantastic atmosphere and her host Marcia was kind and responsive in all communications. My only gripe is that this time I couldn't stay here longer, but I would be looking to this spot again should I return!

We had a great time The setting is idyllic. Very peaceful, the outside is so nice with views of the field and the sheep. Everything is very well thought out, we did not miss anything. When we arrived, we had nice touches like making aperitifs or chocolates, it was adorable. In addition, Marco and Yvonne provided us with a bed, high chair and bathtub for our baby and that's really super nice. In short, an enchanting setting, very nice hosts. Feel free to come and stay with Marco.

We had a wonderful time at this charming apartment in Limmen! The place was not only clean, but also tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Everything was exactly as described and the quiet location contributed to a very relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking much easier for us. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and gave us great tips for the area. Overall it was a very nice stay and we can highly recommend this apartment.

A nice apartment in a great location. The location is excellent. Shopping is nearby and you can quickly get to the beach with the available bikes. The apartment is very clean and nicely decorated. Despite its central location, it is very quiet. Communication was perfect and very fast. An absolutely recommended address and we'd love to come back!

Our stay was just beautiful! The place was not only beautiful and very clean, but also furnished with an incredible amount of love for detail – you feel welcome from the first moment. The hosts were fantastic: warm, helpful, and always trying to make the stay as comfortable as possible. We felt completely comfortable and will be happy to come back at any time. Absolutely recommended – five stars are almost too little!

We had wonderful days with Timo and Lucy. The location is super central, but it's still quiet. We were only 5 minutes walk from the beach. A very cute, clean cottage to relax and linger. Highly recommend, especially because of the great location.

Nestled in this charming town, the property offered the ideal blend of peaceful countryside living with easy access to Amsterdam's vibrant city life. The house itself was a delightful retreat—cozy, well-appointed, and with those quintessential Dutch touches that made it feel both authentic and comfortable. Laren itself is a sweet, welcoming town with a surprising number of excellent restaurants and cafés for its size. We enjoyed strolling through the village center, visiting the local shops, and grabbing a bite to eat. The staff in the Restuarants we v very friendly and warm. One of the biggest advantages was the convenient connection to Amsterdam. Within 30 minutes, we could be in the heart of the city, enjoying all it has to offer, before returning to our peaceful sanctuary in Laren.

Mischa made our stay so comfortable. When we were booking she quickly responded to all my questions. She greeted us with tulips and Dutch treats. The guest house is in the back of her house separated by a small patio and is very roomy and quiet. It is in a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants, pubs and is walkable to the museums and other Amsterdam sites. The kitchen is well equipped. There are a few games, puzzles, and books all about Amsterdam. I fell while sightseeing (watch the uneven brick sidewalks) and texted Mischa. As soon as we returned she very nicely provided me with ice. We would recommend a stay at Mischa’s guesthouse.
