Etnalodge converted palmento: sleeps 7, self-cater

Etnalodge is a peaceful holiday home on the slopes of Mount Etna, housed in a converted ancient palmento. The house sleeps up to 7 people in 3 rooms. A travel cot can be added if required. All our rooms contain antique Sicilian furniture, have ensuite bathrooms and feature either countryside or sea views. The house has a fully-equipped eat-in kitchen, as well as an outdoor dining and lounge area and a sun-terrace. There is also a glass house with comfortable seating a few steps from the house.

The Cavagrande loft is one of three lodgings within the recently renovated lava stone structure. The loft was created from an ancient millstone and has just been redesigned. You will be just 6 km from the beaches of Fiumefreddo, 20 km from Taormina, 20 km from the Alcantara Gorges, 5 km from Linguaglossa where there are ski resorts and 40 km from Catania.

Palmento is the place were the grapes used to be crusced to make wine. We thought about the palm of the hands and the concept is to enhance the senses and the creativity. In the open space there is a toilet with solar calendar, a japanise alcova with tatami and futon, a large bath tube, a heater and an antique stereo class A. Guest can admire the sun and moon rising over the sea and the sunset behind the volcano. Palmento is of exclusive use of the guests.
