Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Venango County

A cozy cottage with a huge fenced yard for our dog. We were so impressed with how well stocked the coffee/ tea bar was. And all the thoughtful touches throughout like bowls for the dog and even a “dog” towel hanging near the back door to dry off wet feet. Bath salts and nice soaps in the bathroom too. After an unexpected 3 inch snowfall overnight we received an early morning message from Amy checking on us to see if we needed anything. She is an awesome host! We will definitely stay here again next time we visit family & friends in the area.

Very nice house, and great location!

Sarah’s place was a well maintained, beautiful historic home. It fit everyone in our party perfectly. It is in a great area that is walkable to many shops and restaurants in downtown Franklin. Most things you would need are only about 5 minutes away! Sarah was also very proactive and responsive. We had a lovely time and have it saved for the next time we come back to Franklin.

I would strongly recommend staying at Ryan’s place. Feels like home every time. Modern amenities make for a relaxing stay. Ryan is directly involved and close by, which is really nice.

Great place to stay for the price in the area. It would be nice to have a bigger parking area. I drive a F-150 which was a bit a pain to park in the smallish driveway. Beyond that the house was great. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us that stayed there. It was great to have the deck to view the river and is a short walk to restaurants and shops.

The place was beautiful and peaceful. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for a quiet getaway.

Mark was great to deal with and would help in any way he could if something needed to be addressed. The house has a great few and nice porch out front but sadly for me it was to cold to enjoy sitting out there while I was there. All in All would stay here again if it was available and I was back up that way!

Richard is a great host and an even better tattoo artist. During our stay he snuck me into his schedule to get my first tattoo. Very cool guy who actually cares about his guests experience.

Our family had a great stay. It was an awesome find - so much better than expensive hotels. Nicole was very responsive and professional throughout our stay. We will definitely stay again when we are back in the area.

The house is very clean for being a older house. It’s also in a good location to walk to the local stores and restaurants by the river.

This is a great apartment...brand new and extremely clean. The town is very quaint and charming. Beautiful local area and quiet.

What a great Airbnb and well worth the cost, especially considering that the other options in the area! Liz really put in the extra touches to make our stay awesome, including plenty of fresh linens, snacks in the kitchen, and bathroom toiletries. The beds were super soft and it was nice having two bedrooms for my son and I! Next time we’re back in Oil City, we will be staying here again!!

The country suite was exactly what I needed for my trip. The kitchen included pots and pans, utensils, dishes, and pretty much anything else you would need for cooking. Plenty of towels and supplies for the bathroom. And the location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay.

Adorable little place, just like in the photos. Clean, cozy and with everything you'd need for your stay. It's an absolutely beautiful area and I will certainly book again when I return!!
