Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Vereeniging

We had an incredible weekend getaway at this beautiful spot on the Vaal River! The place was not only comfortable and clean, but Linda and Andre were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. We caught so much fish, and they showed us the best spots to enjoy it all. The swims were perfect, the braais were fantastic, and everything about the stay was just ideal. It’s the perfect escape from the busy city—highly recommend!

This is a private and beautiful location with the on-site expectations fully fulfilled. The staff are friendly and efficient. The multiple entertainment areas and very significant fridge space and facilities ensured our birthday celebration weekend was a smash hit for all. We missed not having a boat to enjoy the river more fully.

Lucy was an excellent host. Gave us pet friendly recommendations and activities close by and responded swiftly to any questions. Would definitely recommend her place for anyone looking for a weekend get away.

Outstanding service and quality. Amazing!!! George the housekeeper on premises was on point and was always there. Great for a family get together of 14-15 people and built in such a way that everyone has their own space with beautiful views of the dam. House and surrounding gardens are immaculate.

What a wonderful stay with the most awesome hosts. Not to forget about Feston (hopefully correct spelling) the most helpful , friendliest man I have ever met no matter the time. Had a lovely stay and definitely be going back Thanks to all the staff for making our stay very memorable

One of the most special little breaks we've had. Aloe Fjord is beautiful, the sunsets are magical, the quietness and calmness around you is surreal, and Amy is just absolutely gorgeous. Paula and her Husband the owners of Aloe Fjord are possibly the sweetest hosts we've ever met; they are so kind and caring; they welcomed us with open arms and helped and accommodated us with requests and went out of their way to make our stay extra special. We'll definitely make a point of it to visit more often.
