It is located at the end of the road and therefore there is no car traffic past the cabin! Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the view, with sun from morning to evening🌞 Good opportunities for hiking in the mountains nearby, or try your luck at fishing. Fantastic hiking opportunities right outside the door, a walk in the field on foot or skiing in our mighty mountains or just enjoy the view over the sea, the possibilities are there. Have a base here if you are going to ski, shops and restaurants are 5 minutes away by car. Museum and the aquarium are 2 km away. Have a base here and drive around and enjoy all the great nature and food experiences Lofoten has to offer.

Steigen Lodge Sjøhytte Våg nr 1

We want everyone to experience nature as closely as possible. Therefore, we have built three small cabins/ houses, with large glass surfaces everywhere, so that you can sit inside and enjoy the mountains, the horizon, the sea , the sunsets and the midnight sun. Now it's not always sunny on the island, so we have a nice sofa, which can be daybed too, for moments when you want to sit inside under the blanket, look at the rain and the wind, but still get a great experience of the changing nature.

Welcome to our charming cottage, built in classic Lofoten style, inspired by the traditional wooden houses of Northern Norway. Here you get a perfect combination of rustic coastal charm and modern comfort – ideal as a base for nature experiences, family fun or just total relaxation in beautiful surroundings. The cabin has 3 bedrooms and plenty of space for 6 adults. In addition, there is a travel bed for small children and a sofa bed that is suitable for children or teenagers.

Check-in is from 5:00 PM - check-out 11:00 AM, but feel free to send us a message if you’d like an earlier check-in, or later check-out, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

One of the very few original fishermen's cabins still around. It is more than 150 years old, but has been re-done and is in very good condition. The timber walls offers genuine ambience, yet the cabin also offers conveniences such as a sauna, bathroom and modern kitchen. The rorbu is most suitable for a couple or a family with 2 children.

The cabin is located in the village of Nes on Hamarøy, 5 km from Skutvik. The cabin is located on the outskirts of the village and has a landlord as the closest neighbor.
