Amazing stay in the middle of nowhere!! It’s a cabin in the woods, which means an outdoor toilet, no sink, no hot shower, etc + check-in involves a good walk uphill But if you're okay with that, it’s sooooo muuuuch worth it! It's the coziest little house with an absolutely perfect interior, surrounded by a magical forest with trails all around. Truly an amazing place to get lost and enjoy nature I also have to mention that everything is well-equipped, and the host is easy to communicate with and quick to respond Loved our time there, 100% recommended!

The perfect place to really get to know Norway! Svein and Marianne's Airbnb is a truly unique and great way to experience the real Norway. It's located a little outside the city in a more rural area on a farm. The house is very clean, spacious, and cozy. We had a truly amazing weekend. Svein and Marianne are two incredibly kind and helpful people who made our stay even more enjoyable. They gave us a warm welcome and were able to help us with any questions we had. We will definitely come back again!

The first two hours we had to find our way through the house. Cooking, dishes, keeping warm. Water from the gletscher, no internet, no electricity. Busy carrying the wood and getting the hottub hot enough. We loved the house. How in the world this exists?! The place and the surroundings are amazing, unique, breathtaking, magical. We hiked to the waterfall, and went to Vikasfjellet to hike. We had all kinds of weather and loved it in all conditions. Love to come back to this beautiful secret gem. Staying here was an incredible experience. My wife and I were in awe of the spectacular views of the tranquil fjord, the snow-capped mountains around us, and the gushing waterfall next to the house. We used the kitchen a lot during our stay and immediately fell in love with it. It is the best stocked airbnb kitchen we have come across. Cooking in it felt so natural and everything was easy to find. The living room was also a highlight- it is spacious and, as the description says, it easily fits several guests but it still felt cozy with only us two. And of course, the hot tub was perfect to relax in on cold and windy evenings as the sun went down. It is clear Hans and Emily have put so much care and thoughtfulness into making this cabin a home for their guests. Their attentiveness extends beyond the house too and when the conditions were right to see the northern lights, they eagerly messaged us to make sure we didn't miss it. Every moment we spent here was a delight.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Inger is a wonderful host with suggestions on activities to do in the area as well as where to dine and shop. As we were staying the weekend prior to Easter it was great to get the timely info that most things close Thursday and Friday prior to the weekend so we could plan accordingly. We enjoyed the apartment so much that we stayed an additional day and would have stayed longer had travel plans allowed. Immensely enjoyed speaking with her and learning about the area and some insights into Norway. A great place to relax and recharge with the stunning views. Will fondly remember this place and hope to visit again.

A kitchen, a bedroom and a living room that all have a view on the fjord and at least 17 waterfalls. Amazing. The kitchen is well equipped, bathroom big and clean, plenty of bedrooms, a lovely fireplace, quiet by night. Did I already mentioned the outstanding view on the fjord?

The house was beautifully furnished, spacious enough for five people, very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and large enough to allow us to cook great meals and a large dining table provided ample space for us to enjoy memorable meals together. Fantastic view of the fjord. Synnove was exceptionally responsive to our requests the entire week. We would highly recommend this place and would gladly stay there again if we return to the area.

We were able to explore the area for a week from this house. The house is in a nice place with a fantastic view. The house is very spacious and contains everything you need for a good stay. For a par night, this house is definitely recommended. For a longer period you are qat insulated. The main road ends in Gresvik, and it's at least 30 Minutes drive to the nearest next village.

The cabin is cozy, and gets plenty warm in the colder months with only a little firewood! Heated stone floor bathrooms. Two separate rooms upstairs that are accessed from outside and a bedroom downstairs. Kitchen is well equipped for everyday needs. Comfy living room with fantastic views from the windows.

A warm house in a beautiful setting. We felt right at home and the owner was very friendly, we even got fresh strawberries and raspberries. The bathroom with a hot tub is both nice for yourself and for the children and the sauna was also nice. In short, we had a pleasant stay and were able to see a lot of the area. Cherry on the cake is the bbq grill with canopy.

The view from the cabin is fantastic. You have two covered terraces on the first floor and a covered balcony on the top floor, where you can sit comfortably and look out over the fjord and the mountains. The interior of the cabin is also comfortably furnished. On the first floor are the kitchen-living room, a double bedroom and the bathroom with shower, on the top floor another living room with a single sleeping niche, a double sleeping niche bedroom and a passage room with desk and another single bed. The cabin is modern, everything necessary is available. The closest supermarket is less than 5 minutes away by car. We felt very comfortable.

A lovely, homely place to stay for the week. Very well equipped house, comfortable and the fire pits to sit round are lovely of an evening. Good access to the ski slopes with young children and the surrounding scenery is stunning. Susan couldn’t be more helpful with arrival information and practical advice and suggestions for the local area. Would love another holiday here. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

I think first time im giving 5 stars for everything. If it were possible, i’d never leave Torill’s home. Everything was perfect. I just hope i can stay again there :)
