Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Vik

The first two hours we had to find our way through the house. Cooking, dishes, keeping warm. Water from the gletscher, no internet, no electricity. Busy carrying the wood and getting the hottub hot enough. We loved the house. How in the world this exists?! The place and the surroundings are amazing, unique, breathtaking, magical. We hiked to the waterfall, and went to Vikasfjellet to hike. We had all kinds of weather and loved it in all conditions. Love to come back to this beautiful secret gem. Amazing stay in the middle of nowhere!! It’s a cabin in the woods, which means an outdoor toilet, no sink, no hot shower, etc + check-in involves a good walk uphill But if you're okay with that, it’s sooooo muuuuch worth it! It's the coziest little house with an absolutely perfect interior, surrounded by a magical forest with trails all around. Truly an amazing place to get lost and enjoy nature I also have to mention that everything is well-equipped, and the host is easy to communicate with and quick to respond Loved our time there, 100% recommended!

Staying here was an incredible experience. My wife and I were in awe of the spectacular views of the tranquil fjord, the snow-capped mountains around us, and the gushing waterfall next to the house. We used the kitchen a lot during our stay and immediately fell in love with it. It is the best stocked airbnb kitchen we have come across. Cooking in it felt so natural and everything was easy to find. The living room was also a highlight- it is spacious and, as the description says, it easily fits several guests but it still felt cozy with only us two. And of course, the hot tub was perfect to relax in on cold and windy evenings as the sun went down. It is clear Hans and Emily have put so much care and thoughtfulness into making this cabin a home for their guests. Their attentiveness extends beyond the house too and when the conditions were right to see the northern lights, they eagerly messaged us to make sure we didn't miss it. Every moment we spent here was a delight.

The perfect place to really get to know Norway! Svein and Marianne's Airbnb is a truly unique and great way to experience the real Norway. It's located a little outside the city in a more rural area on a farm. The house is very clean, spacious, and cozy. We had a truly amazing weekend. Svein and Marianne are two incredibly kind and helpful people who made our stay even more enjoyable. They gave us a warm welcome and were able to help us with any questions we had. We will definitely come back again!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Inger is a wonderful host with suggestions on activities to do in the area as well as where to dine and shop. As we were staying the weekend prior to Easter it was great to get the timely info that most things close Thursday and Friday prior to the weekend so we could plan accordingly. We enjoyed the apartment so much that we stayed an additional day and would have stayed longer had travel plans allowed. Immensely enjoyed speaking with her and learning about the area and some insights into Norway. A great place to relax and recharge with the stunning views. Will fondly remember this place and hope to visit again.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der liebevoll eingerichteten gemütlichen Hütte von Berit. Sie ist sehr geräumig und toll gepflegt. Man hat einen tollen Blick ins Tal. Uns hat es super gefallen und wir kommen gern wieder.

The house was beautifully furnished, spacious enough for five people, very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and large enough to allow us to cook great meals and a large dining table provided ample space for us to enjoy memorable meals together. Fantastic view of the fjord. Synnove was exceptionally responsive to our requests the entire week. We would highly recommend this place and would gladly stay there again if we return to the area.

Le logement est très spacieux très lumineux et la vue sur le Sognefjord absolument sublime. Nicolas nous a très gentiment proposé de recharger la voiture chez lui. C'est tout le confort et le calme que niys venons chercher. Nous recommandons vivement.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem schönen Haus. Es ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, sodass man sich direkt zu Hause fühlt. Der Ausblick und die Umgebung sind wunderschön!
