Holiday rentals with a kayak in Viken

We felt very comfortable and would have liked to stay longer! The view of the water and the view are a highlight. The house is very cozily furnished and nothing was missing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Anne’s place. Great find. It matched the descriptions, the place is beyond peaceful. Very warm, cozy. We were alway comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped so we were able to make meals comfortably. Anne is a very caring host. We hope to visit again!

Jon was a fantastic host, who was always available for questions. He was very friendly and took fantastic care of us. The accommodation was in a great location, so we could enjoy the tranquility on the river. The facilities in the house left nothing to be desired. On the first day, Jon even brought us eggs, which we could then enjoy for breakfast every day. Jon also offered us the use of the canoes or fishing. All in all, the accommodation and Jon are fully recommended as a host. We would definitely come back !

We had a great time at Jeanettes cozy House next to the water. The house has everything you need and Jeanette is always helping and communicative. We enjoyed the nice view, the option of using the kayaks and had wonderful strolls trough nature. Thank you for having us :)

It was a dream of mine to visit Norway, and with Guro’s hospitality and beautiful spot by the fjord made it that much more enjoyable. The instructions to get to the plane and find the key and get in we’re crystal clear, which made the arrival anxiety free. The rooms were spacious and clean, the kitchen had everything you needed, parking the rental was easy, the showers were amazing, getting groceries was a walk away. I could go on and on. I cannot wait to visit again. Thank you Guro! You were very attentive! I wish you and your family nothing but the best!

We had an great stay at this lovely house! Everything was as described, if not better. The location was perfect for our trip to Norway, and the house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions, which made our stay enjoyable. The hospitapily was outstanding.

Eva not say enough about this beautiful house. The location was picturesque and tranquil, we enjoyed sipping our nespresso looking at the view. There was more than enough space for two families, even though we were only three. We had a sauna every day and were lucky to have some snow. The beds were heavenly, we slept in every day. We did some skiing at Panorama Vradal right down the road. Kiki was super responsive in helping us figure things out. Her place is perfect for rest and relaxation. We will be back!!

This place is a gem! The setting is really phenomenal with a magnificent view and the frozen lake allowed us to have a magical stay! We were also able to use the sauna and the hot tub it was really the cherry on the cake! A huge thank you for your availability and this unforgettable stay!

The privacy you get in this place with amazing view right on the edge of a spacious terrace is just amazing The location allows an amerce experience in the natural surroundings Picked some nice yellow chanterelle in a the marked tracks in the forest were its easy for the kids to join. And the nice canoes that you can borrow to explore the lakes close by, was a perfect addition to the activities you can do there The place inside have all you need for a comfortable stay , we were three families and everyone had a lovely time, and was able to cook together with ease as the kitchen is well equipped and spacious

We had an amazing week at Alexander's house. Great location close to the sea with many great swimming areas and hiking trails. Perfect for families with children, as there were lots of toys and great garden to play in. We felt at home right away and can really recommend the place.

Our family had a wonderful time at this magnificent home. This is a special property, cared for with such loving detail by the owners. It has everything you need for a perfect lakeside holiday in the beautiful Swedish countryside. The views of the lake and sunset painted sky are surreal and peaceful. There are many things for guests to use, boats, kayaks, bikes, and games, stocked kitchen and BBQ! Tor has even created a walking path through the forest for guests to easily navigate right in their own backyard! The house is full of great spaces, many bedrooms/bathrooms plus common areas for relaxing in the surroundings of a majestic, pristine historical home. We feel very fortunate that they open their home to guests, it truly is a treasure. As host, Ellen was so accommodating and gracious and her attention to detail and availability to make her guests feel welcome and relaxed was evident and appreciated by us. We highly recommend this unique house by the lake and hope to return again!

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

Jon's place is out of the ordinary! We have spent a wonderful weekend in a really cool house with an exciting library you can walk hours to look out for curiosity. The place has everything you need. Good bed, good sofa and all kitchen items. It was also clean and tidy. The private garden was a plus where you could take a refreshing shower out in the open! 👌🏾 We got great hiking tips and the surrounding area is impeccable. Simply amazingly beautiful! A bathroom in the sea from a jetty just below the house we also got taken. We would be happy to come back at a later date. Jon was a really nice host who welcomed us, thank you for us! ☀️

We had an amazing few days in this cabin in August 2024. It is such a beautiful location and so peaceful. The cabin is extremely well equipped and clean. The lake was warm to swim in and easy to navigate on rowing boat and Canadian canoe. Anders was super helpful when we messaged (e.g. He has 2 canoes that can be rented). If you want a quiet holiday this is a great spot to go to!

Wonderful spot for a working vacation. We spent a week over NYE to enjoy the outdoors while still having the connectivity with good WiFi and cell service to take care of some work. Good spot for day trips to go exploring. Cozy cabin in the woods with a sauna and well stocked kitchen.

We spent a week in winter in this lovely cottage, and already want to book again! The cabin was perfect for our family of four. We lit up the wood-burning stove (thanks for the firewood), made pancakes, played games, and slept really well after long days out in the snow in the good weather. In the morning, you stood up to the most beautiful view. In the frost weather, we could scrape an ice rink for ourselves on the ice on the lake. And we drove the 45 minutes to Aurdal and ski several days. Best winter vacation we've had. Thank you Marcus! Top winter getaway

Absolutely stunning log cabin in a very peaceful location. The hosts were very welcoming and we had everything we needed for the stay. Highly recommend the sauna too. The cabin was very warm despite it being very cold outside. Would definitely recommend!
