Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Vila Nova de Gaia

Marcelo's place was exactly as advertised. we had everything we needed and the place was clean and well presented. there's no doubt that the fantastic view from the balcony is the star attraction. if you are planning nights in, or entertaining friends, the kitchen/living room may not be ideal for you, but if you're looking for a base to explore Porto and to chill on the balcony with a late evening drink after a day out and about, you won't do better than this

We stayed at Janika’s Patio for two nights at the end of our Portugal trip. The place was so comfortable and spacious (even tho it didn’t look like it from the outside, so kudos to the designer!). Teresa was very proactive. She reached out to me with clear instructions for check-in and check-out, accompanied by videos and digital booklet containing info about every practical we need (including great activities and restaurant recommendations). The property was clean and well-located, within walking distance to every landmarks we visited. It is also surrounded by cafes and restaurants, which makes it convenient for brunch and late dinner. Thank you for the hospitality! Ps. The welcome chocolate cake was absolutely sweet and amazing!

Really enjoyed staying here. Was only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Porto but also had some really vibrant restaurants nearby (recommend Bar Rua for tapas and live music!). The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The beds were very good quality, with crisp linen. Coupled with blackout shutters lead to us having great sleeps. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the coffee, tea, oils, water (and port!) left to welcome us really helped. The hosts were very good at communicating regarding check in etc, plus also during the nationwide power cut that we were there for. They made sure we knew what was going on, and that they were available if we needed any help, which was much appreciated. Would stay again :)

I had a great experience in the house that is very nice, well organized, clean, comfortable and in a very convenient location to reach everything on foot. Messages with Maria were always timely and we had no difficulty in check-in or during the stay. The only area for improvement is the road that is a little noisy for the passage of cars and buses despite the double glazing on the windows.

Our family loved Maria’s place! The location could not have been better - a quiet, picturesque street walking distance of everything. The view was stunning from every room, and we were able to come back and forth from sightseeing and meals very easily. The elevator was also a welcome amenity after walking up Porto’s hills! Maria was extremely kind and helpful, and we loved chatting with her. The beds were comfortable (including the fold out couch!), and the apartment had everything we needed. We highly recommend!

The apartment is as described and very welcoming. The historic center of Porto is very easy to reach on foot with all amenities and tourist places. If you are visiting Porto I recommend this place 👍

We loved our stay at this charming apartment in the heart of Porto! Tucked away on a historic stone street with no cars, it had tons of old-world charm, yet the apartment itself was fully modern and beautifully decorated. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed—from a well-stocked kitchen with a Nespresso machine to thoughtful touches like electrical adapters. The location was perfect—close to everything and very walkable. Claudia was a wonderful host: super helpful, responsive, and provided great local tips. We even had a local cat visit our balcony a few times, which was a fun bonus! The only issue was the dryer—it didn’t quite dry our clothes, even with the instructions, but Claudia kindly offered to come help. We ended up air-drying, which worked fine. Overall, a fantastic stay. We’d definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay with Manuel in the apartment. The apartment was clean and very large, especially we liked the large bathroom. The area is very quiet, but you can also be in the city in a few minutes.

The best attention I received on airbnb, Carlos was very nice and his parents alike. The accommodation is very nice and with all the amenities and more! A lot of welcome details and more than you need for your stay, they even left us for breakfast, dinner…etc. Congratulations on the treatment, service and accommodation.

The well-organized spaces and the perfect atmosphere to relax after a day of sightseeing. The decor is a standout standout. Every detail was clearly thought out with care, combining style and functionality flawlessly. The decorative elements bring a unique personality to the space, without exaggeration, creating a sense of home away from home. The host, in turn, deserves all the praise. Extremely attentive and friendly, it ensured that our stay was perfect, promptly answering our questions and offering great tips about the region. This is undoubtedly a place we would recommend to anyone in search of a memorable and comfortable experience.

Simply an exquisite of space! Large house, impeccable, carefully designed for guest comfort. Hosts were very helpful to help us with unforeseen events that we had around the city, always in a very friendly way. I recommend both the space and the hosts!
