Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. Stayed for about 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much to Pedro and his family.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating from start to finish—always available, quick to respond to any questions, and full of great local tips. The house itself is immaculate—spotless, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located in a peaceful rural setting. It was the ideal place to relax, especially with the hot tub which was spotless and ready to use on arrival. Plenty of great coastal spots within easy driving distance too. Couldn’t recommend it more highly—perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, and well-looked-after getaway.

Phillipa and Paul were absolutely lovely to work with and their property is unbelievable! We felt like we owned a Quinta for a few nights! we got to explore the property, visit with Paul and one of their sons, and savor the beauty of the Douro. They were proactive with communication and sourced a number of wonderful adventures, activities and meals. Without their guidance our trip would have been less fun!

An excellent space for a weekend getaway! Joaquim's space is very comfortable and beautiful, it feels like we are transported to an isolated remote space, a small haven. Joaquim was also super helpful, cordial and suggested a trail to a lookout point that was very pleasant and refreshing. Thank you for the experience that we will certainly repeat!

A beautifully restored home with large garden - we felt very welcomed by Susana on arrival. Overall we experienced bad weather during our stay but really enjoyed relaxing by the pool on our one day of sunshine - this is a better house to stay in during the summer months to maximise usage of pool area and lovely gardens. The house is well equipped and conveniently located in the town. We enjoyed our night at the wine bar in the basement - very interesting and high quality local wines available.

We went to spend a few days as a family with a baby. Before we even left our home, Débora and João had already asked us what would be necessary for our son (in this case we asked for the crib and the meal chair). As soon as we arrived we found that, in addition to corresponding, it was even better. The space is cozy, from the view to the decoration and sunlight that fills the space, everything aligns in favor of a super relaxing stay. The house is also very well equipped to meet needs we didn't even know we were going to need. Bonus Points for the heated pool with an amazing view. Hosts were super affable and available. Amarante will undoubtedly stay in our heart.

Very nice place in nature, quiet, well insulated, and opaque shutters ( we slept really well!) and fireplace that puts a nice atmosphere. We're in the countryside and we feel like we're in the countryside 🧡
