Cozy cottage in Nordskoven🏡🦌 close to town and mountain biking🚵🏼

Our cottage is built of wood from our own forest, it contains an entrance, a large bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen living room. In addition, there is a cozy dining area, as well as a covered terrace. The cottage is located on the edge of a slope so the view is amazing. The wildlife in the forest can be followed from every room in the cottage, you can also look down to the large lake in the garden. We have a large trampoline, as well as a football field that you can use freely. We live in the neighboring house, so we are close by if you need anything😊

The kitchen with electric kettle and fridge - not possible to cook hot food.

WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the amazing nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There's also a sauna in connection with the lake. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city center. There are 2 km to Pizzaria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

Jump into the lake from the boat bridge and rinse yourself in hot water overlooking Himmelbjerget. Take your kayak and sail a morning trip and meet the heron. Enjoy your morning coffee in the pavilion with the wood stove on. Read a book in the double bed overlooking the lake or take the mountain bike and take a ride on the route outside the door. Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. Here you live completely undisturbed and alone. The tent is located deep in the forest, so there is a nice, though very hilly road up there. If you have difficulty walking, this trip will not be to your liking. From the parking of your car and up to the tent, it is 350 meters. Smingehytten er en bjælkehytte som ligger ugenert omgivet af marker, å, enge og skov. Hytten ligger med adgang til Gudenåen og med Gjern bakker som baghave. Hytten ligger tæt på Gudenåen, 50 m., men ikke direkte ud til åen. Hytten er omgivet af uspoleret natur med fred og ro og et rigt dyre- og fugleliv. I området omkring hytten er der rig mulighed for aktiviteter som mountainbike, vandring, golf, kano, kajak, badeland, ridning mm. Hytten ligger 15min. kørsel fra Silkeborg og 45min. til Århus.
